Julie had the idea of dividing the bracket into regions (East, West, Europe, Other) to try to cut down on the amount of coachella nominations, etc.? Was wondering if you guys thought it was a good idea or not.
I will say I'm worried about the idea of an "Other" side and it not being able to stack up to East, West or Europe
how do chicago/austin/houston stack into east west?

Maybe replace Other with Central and include Mexico in that

there should be 4 regions imo: one for the Big 4 USA fests (lolla coach roo ACL), one for Euro/international fests, one for smaller/genre fests, and then one other which I can't really think of
edit: maybe make the 4th region for midsized fests? stuff like Gov Ball and Osheaga and whatever

I like this
figure its the only way to keep things balanced, otherwise it'll just be a mix of Coachella, a couple Bonnaroos, maybe an ACL or two, and then cool Euro shit
but I'm thinking of some smaller fests that absolutely kill it, and should get in the mix

Also makes it easier to compare in head to head matchups

I mean if those are the best then why not have them dominate the list IMO
Two regions should probably be Euro because they often have better lineups anyway. So maybe big and small regions. Or maybe not necessarily European but international because there's Fuji Rock and such.

I’d prefer any Sonar lineup over any Bonnaroo lineup.

What do you want to constitute as mid size though, like capacity or caliber of acts or festival presence? I would say you can argue that Outside Lands should get a chance with the big 4 cause they gotten plenty of big names over the years and can have a lot of people in attendance.

oh shit I totally forgot about Roskilde somehow, which remains the only major festival to have booked Rihanna (I think?). My personal favorite is Roskilde 2014:
