another point for Superorganism: Tim Sweetwood has been teasing King Gizz being a late addition to Shaky Knees for weeks now on his personal facebook which I assume it bc of Coachella. If Shaky has to wait, I don't know why Roo would be able to announce them.

They’re not “announcing” them though. The clues are often for Coachella acts.

I wouldn't think that a clue counts as an announcement. Times may have changed, but Tame was a Roo Clue in 13 and they played both fests.

lmao, I remember a couple years ago the Roo twitter said they had to get permission from an act to announce them early which they ended up not getting. It's possible that this is some sort of loophole but I'm not sure why festivals would be tightlipped on leaks only to allow this stuff.

I'm coming back around to Gizz.
"I'm In Your Mind" make more sense than "Something For Your M.I.N.D." However, the name of that album has "fuzz" on the end. But the first track is just "I'm in your mind" and thats the phrase they repeat over and over.
The only thing still worrying me is the stature of each song within the context of each band's discography. I kinda thought that album was a blip on the King Gizz radar by this point.

It's their 10th most played song on Spotify. I think they would have a better clue with a band with such a specific name.
I'm not incredibly familiar with Gizz or Superorganism, but I need to note a few things.
The font and font color are not the same as either the Superorganism album nor I'm In Your Mind Fuzz. The background for the clue is not the same as that Superorganism video. "I'm In Mind" makes sense, but the word "your" isn't incorporated by the clue. I'm not saying that it necessarily needs to be - Roo Clues aren't an exact science - but it's worth noting.
Who is the biggest act that has ever been announced via these clues? I feel like it's always these bottom feeder/mid tier acts that would have no influence on selling tickets whatsoever.
Lorde was 7th on the lineup in 2017, the Lonely Island was 6th on their day last year. I’d say Lorde was bigger.(King T beat me to it).
As far as the clue, using the parentheses and plus sign, makes me look at it like a math equation. So with that mindset I lean towards it being King Giz. The poster who mentioned the clues could represent 2 artists is interesting and would explain a lot about the confusion with #3. Might be worth reopening #1 and seeing if there’s a second act for that one, it could help confirm or deny that thought.

There are one or two moles on reddit that try to steer the conversation away from a specific act if overwhelming consensus seems to go towards a wrong answer. Since that didn’t happen with King Gizz, but another act in the thread, I’d put king gizzard at 100%. I also feel like the 2 for 1 Roo clue idea would be something that they would broadcast, but could be wrong.
