Hey man trust me I know how stupid it sounds. I've been going to this thing for a long time and still get thrown off when I look at the set times and see that the 3rd billed artist *isn't* 3rd to last on the main. I'm just saying there's something really weird about Rage not even closing the main on their day so I'm just spitballing here.
The question isn't someone closing the main as a sub, it's someone not closing the main as a major reunion (of sorts). If Jack White were headlining with Calvin as a sub, it'd be a no brainer that CH close the main. If the White Stripes were headlining with Calvin as a sub, it'd be a crazy if they didn't close the main.

Agreed, but still a muuuuuch bigger deal and bigger draw than Jack White, or The Black Keys, or Kings of Leon, or RHCP.
