I’ve been listening to the Caribou singles nonstop for the past month so I’d be shocked if I really don’t like the new album, but I think my favorite this month so far is Shopping??

I like the new Shopping but I love the new Spanish Love Songs. It's kinda a apples to motor oil comparison, I know. One is post punk/synth heavy and the other is pop punky/finger pointing goodness. It's good though, I promise.

Strongly recommend Katie Gately if you haven't checked already.

It's in my queue for today. Looking forward to that one. I was all set to go with her this week and Regarde Les Hommes Tomber started streaming the new album.

Nazar - Guerilla Porridge Radio - Every Bad Hilary Woods - Birthmarks Porches - Ricky Music Shabaka & the Ancestors - We Are Sent Here By History Ultraísta - Sister
Mar 20
Container - Scramblers Baxter Dury - The Night Chancers Roger Eno & Brian Eno - Mixing Colours Ian William Craig - Red Sun Through Smoke Irreversible Entanglements - Who Sent You? Haru Nemuri - LOVETHEISM
Mar 27
Daniel Avery & Alessandro Cortini - Illusion of Time Sorry - 925 The Necks - Three Margaret Glaspy - Devotion Half Waif - The Caretaker Little Dragon - New Me, Same Us Waxahatchee - Saint Cloud
Yeah I don't think it's bad but I agree with this. The best songs were definitely the singles.
What are you really agreeing with there from Fred? Kinda a meaningless sentence. Just curious to hear what you guys aren't liking.
I've given it another listen and I do think it's good but it didn't meet my expectations which were pretty high given the quality of the singles. There are a few songs on here that are ok to boring. But that's also not the majority of the album. Maybe I'll really start to love it with some more listens. I'm sure it will when I see him.
Gonna be spending my Leap Day doing some February catch-up listening
Let's see how many of these I get to: Moses Sumney Grimes Caribou Real Estate Soccer Mommy Denzel Curry & Kenny Beats Nathaniel Rateliff Tennis Wajatta
New Disclosure slaps hard. Caribou is prolly my second favorite release of the year so far. Tycho is solid. III Points is just looking better and better

The Too Free album that came out this month is pretty great. Probably won’t get many first place votes, but recommended for anyone who’s interested in a guy who sounds vaguely like Anhoni singing over 808 beats.

They're a ton of fun live too.
Merchandise was a very underrated band so I’m glad Carson Cox is up to something.
The song X2 is named after a notoriously high drama bus line in DC, which cracks me up.
