Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
“The full camping experience” is a stretch. You can still get in just fine and camp. You miss one night. It’s not uncommon for fests to have a “pre party” night that has to be bought extra or purchased through pre order I.e. lockn, riot fest, etc. it’s a small perk for loyalty. You won’t miss a set and it solves a logistical issue of Wednesday traffic
It just moves the logistical issue of traffic to Thursday
The day when the fest actually starts
When people would want to be at the festival instead of waiting in their cars

But, are we gonna talk about the fact that Gizz has that weekend booked for A festival in Norway as well? They have Thursday booked as a placeholder for both fests, but man that seamen’s aggressive for a wins for weekend even if it is a Friday-Bonnaroo, Sunday Norway sort of thing. But I guess if any bands gonna do it it’s them. Just had me a bit worried that maybe it’s a mistake

Or maybe they're just going to cancel one. The Ting Tings were double booked when Bonnaroo rolled out their lineup one year and they did the other show instead.

They were supposed to fly overnight from Europe to play Bonnaroo this year, I believe. Same fest I think.

So uh, how's everybody doing? Anyone hear about the concert where the above picture was taken in Tennessee? Naughty list for all of them. I'll probably be on here a bit more cause I'm Q'd up due to contact with someone who was with someone who popped positive. Got a test last Thursday but they're a bit backed up so I'm just waiting. No symptoms so that's good, but I went from knowing no one to four people last week. Also, I started a radio show where we travel to a different city or state or "time" each week and we've been having fun with it. What I need help with is electronic music. I dig things like Polo & Pan, Daily Bread, Michael Menart, Aphex, Cut Copy, Hot Chip, LCD, Daft Punk and the like, but I'm not super hip to a lot of it so I'd appreciate some help. I'm going to start a new thread for it, I guess. I'm not sure what to call it though. Smooth Electronic Acts? Non-womp electronic? I dunno.

We're in the same boat. Tested Friday, 5 days due to backlog, should find out tomorrow.
Fingers crossed your negative. Have fun with your road trip radio!

Stupid question but you have to like pretty lights if you’re in Michael Menart and Dailybread ?

Yeah he's fine. Not my favorite but your math is correct. I lean more towards those others I mentioned, to be honest. I dig Poolside, as well. I guess I like vocals and at least the representation of instrumentation along with it.

For "Smooth" EDM I fancy in no order:
Caribou, Tycho, Todd Terje, AAL / Nicholas Jaar, Bob Moses, Cubicolor, Jaime XX, Rufus Du Sol, Zhu
Fisher, Disclosure, Chem Bros and M83 make me happy too. I'm just terrible at what genre's everyone is that I've mentioned.

Anyone catch the last episode of The What Podcast hinting heavily that Lady Gaga was/is booked to headline 2021? It’s at the 37:00 mark:
I'm surprised he'd just give away that information. Like those guys are pretty well connected to the Bonnaroo staff. Enough to get the lineup early and interview the guys who book the festival. I can't imagine they'd be too happy with him just leaking a potential headliner like that. It wasn't subtle at all.

Right! They’re journalists (and, like you said, extremely well connected with both ACe and Live Nation), so I’m left to believe they had some sort of nod to let that information out. They even doubled down, making it appear as no mistake, on Twitter. In any case, this is super intriguing.

I think they’ll end up keeping the top 3 and maybe do Gaga 2022. I’m not sure they would replace one of their HLs for a much more expensive headliner on a lineup that sold out when they’re probably not in an ideal financial spot.

Yeah, that’s what I’d assume as well. Still, it’s a little weird that an insider source would bring it up right now...then promote the “scoop” in an additional tweet. We’ll see...
Edit: It’s entirely possible they opt to replace a headliner, if Gaga was booked, or a headliner might not be available for the new dates. Gaga would be a hard get for Bonnaroo, so it could be too special to pass up?

I mean, they had Jay-Z late night after Stevie Wonder. I think that they could pair her up with Tame Impala and justify having either one play late on the What.
