Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I had a great law professor in college who was in a band (Jet Black Raspberries) who let me skip a midterm to go see Rage Against The Machine & Cypress Hill.
Fun fact: he also once served Billy Idol a summons by pretending he was looking for an autograph.
I hope Billy Idol gave him the trademark curled lip scowl when he served him.
Do you think they are still trying to book the same lineup as 2020? Or is that out the door since it’s being postponed so far back?
Also would love to see some cosmic gate, or any trance at Roo!
Chances are they are tryin’ to book the same lineup. But they likely won’t be able to book all the exact same artists due to other tourin’ commitments or other COVID complications.
My only issue is by next September will Lizzie even be relevant? Tame coming off that album will be relevant but no where near as hot as they would have been this past summer. Tool is Tool so relevant anytime.

He was a pretty deadpan guy. He just said that Billy was not happy.
Gorillaz Tour phase one is out. Nice to see something scheduled for next Summer. Yes, I know, you think it wont happen. Let talk misery some more. Not I
With the emphasis on "new year," I'm guessing this is a subtle way to signal no Thanksgiving presale (or December Roo Clues, for that matter). Not that any of that is unexpected given the state of the pandemic and the live music industry, just nice to semi-confirm.
Sucks. This time of the year is usually the best time of the year for Inforoo. Tons of rumors, fake insiders, actual insiders, confirmations, banter and arguing.

I'd expect their timeline to be pushed back a few months to go along with the new festival dates anyways.

So are they still gonna go with the original headliners? Or will they swap out someone like Lizzo?
I think if you lose anyone, it ends up being Tool because of them not touring in 2021 (as we know right now). We should start thinking about what could replace that? I do not see them throwing away Lizzo when she potentially releases a record in 2021-22, and definitely they are trying to keep Tame Impala.

For a Tool replacement we find ourselves reaching into the pool of 90s rock bands. Maybe Foo Fighters? Not sure what their plans are but I imagine Grohl will be itching to be playing shows again when he can.

I kinda wonder what the deal is with Foos and Bonnaroo. Why hasn't it happened yet? It feels like one of the parties is really just not interested.
IMO, they're the most glaring omission in Roo headliners. Coldplay are close behind, though it feels like they don't tour as much.
The Stones are the biggest fish out there that they haven't landed yet but that may never happen. Too much money. Logistics would have to be a beast, too.
Also, aren't we assuming Gaga would be a headliner in 2021?

I presume nothing at this point. Gaga makes sense, and they would finally have a lineup touting a fantastic female line up after years being under the curve.

No disrespect to Foos but I'd take Gaga over them for sure. Lady Gaga and Bonnaroo would be like peanut butter and jelly.
