i'm hoping this means oysterhead is still on the table...
well the phish tour starts July 14 and runs through dicks bonnaroo weekend. but is there a world where a multi city tour doesn't happen but a medium sized outdoor festival does? possibly. also possible that phish cancels the july/august portion of the tour and has their "comeback" show at dicks, which means dicks would be the hardest ticket since hampton 2009.

yeah i feel like it's all up in the air right now, and i'm surprised there's even posters for festivals in summer this year. seems like more hope than confirmation.

I hope they don't cancel the July portion because I live less than 2 miles from oak mountain and I've weirdly been looking forward to it

I’m surprised too. Didn’t think anyone would be able to book a lineup and sell tickets with certainty, but it looks like it’s happening.
Also surprised Turkuaz is still planning to tour Remain in Light — with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew, no less. I thought special tours like that would’ve fallen through and not been so easily stood up again. I’d been hoping to see that at Roo last year.

Based on conversations with governors in key U.S. states, Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino is optimistic that large-scale American concerts are closer than ever to returning. He said that “a clear outline to a 75% to 100%” capacity for outdoor U.S. events in 2021 was looking likely to be green-lit.”

Miley is the wife's favorite artist. really like the new album. we weren't going to go to Roo last year either, but i'm glad i didn't miss out on the miley, tool, bassnectar LN that would've been insane last year

That’s a good top 4 for my tastes! Wife would be stoked as well for Gaga and Lizzo. Throw Dolly in and it’s Fire

I wish The Breeders would play Bonnaroo. I saw them in Prospect Park back in 2018 and it was magical.

I'm bummed that I missed that. I guess I'll just have to hold on to my memories of seeing them in 1994...
Missing a lot of flavor from the 2020 lineup, especially with the different headliners. Needs stuff like Oysterhead, Lana, Meg, Leon.
Agree! Especially expect Megan to be there. Also The Struts for my liking. Although that Top line can’t be cheap. I imagine Lizzo’s booking fee is more than it was in 2020
I think Lizzo's will probably be fairly similar. I don't think she's gotten smaller or faded like some people, but I don't think she's probably gotten dramatically more expensive, either. Meg's and Dababy's have probably skyrocketed from where they were, so they might have to punt on one or both of those.

And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

True, I just actively tried to changed it up a bit. Also figured Megan would be a minimum sub hl at this point and much more expensive. And still unsure of oysterhead until we see how phish tour plays out.

Would Megan pull that Cardi B slot on Sunday or maybe pre HL on Which on Sat night?

It is just nice to imagine that we might get a festival. I want a Miley or billy strings superjam with this lineup.
How would everyone feel about an Easy Eye Sound Super Jam curated by Dan Auerbach? Kinda like the Ed Helms Bluesgrass Superjam held on Sunday late afternoon. It could feature everyone from the label plus special guests.
