Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Kalliope after hours had a mix of people I didn’t see on the lineup as well as some guest spots from others who ho were.
Kalliope was run by Walter Productions though so they kinda did their own thing. it'll be interesting to see how Roo handles the Other now that they're the "all night to sunrise" destination. I was surprised to not see any sunrise sets specifically mentioned on the lineup but maybe that'll come in a later round of announcements.
in terms of more artists...all you're most likely going to see is plaza artists (local and/or small artists) and Who stage announcements. any and all big names are most likely already announced unless they're going to surprise us (hopefully) with a couple wild late late night Other announcements
Kinda upsetting to be honest. I feel like by Saturday The Other will just have zombies with broken necks slowly moving around. Thought we could of atleast got someone that wasn’t big bass and it would do been a good mix. Above & Beyond, Armin, Disclosure, Chris lake, Carl Cox.

clashfinder question: is it possible to just copy a clashfinder and change the names in it? seems like it would be but i've never been able to figure out how.
i did a clashfinder for movement last year and it made a lot of movement people angry so i'd like to do that again without having to start from scratch.

They have been following the same general schedule the past few years
Used to be a lot more overlap and now they pretty much strictly alter this/that and what/which other than sunday

I just used my clashfinder for last year and updated the name to 2020

So far I’ve discovered 99 Neighbors, Ezra Collective, and Devon Gilgillian that I will see on Thursday. Big Something will likely be a fun set too although not something super exciting for me
That, plus Regrettes and Liz Cooper, plus the two hour Grand Ole Opry, is a solid day of enjoyable music even if it won’t be anything I’ll talk about for years to come
As in the band that is a tribute band that only 200 people go to, but everyone that was there talks about for years.
Turkuaz is a moderately big name in their own right
ahh hot it. Thank you for the meaning. Unless they go up against Lizzo, this is still a fest w heavy jam influence and they should have a decent crowd.
At first glance this is pretty rough. Tenacious D, Colony House, Turkauz, King Gizz, Primus, Grace Potter, Flogging Molly, and Oysterhead are all that immediately stand out to me.
Dude if these are the acts you like on the lineup, wtf more could you possibly expect from a mainstream fest in 2020.
I guess I still live in the past when Bonnaroo lineups would typically have at minimum some 15 acts I wanted to see before I even had to do research on the lineup.
So personally I can expect a bit more out of this festival. Would my personal expectations be realistic? Prolly not, but that’s a reason I am not bookin’ major festivals.
Was going to see if there was potential for additions, but it actually looks like every day has more artist than last year. Not sure how much of that has to do with the Other going all night though.

that makes sense, i guess you really don't need to preserve a prior year mock clashfinder anyway.
but lets say i wanted to do a bonnaroo mock. it would be nice if i could, for example, take your clashfinder, make a copy of it, then update it myself, rather than resetup all the dates/stages/artists/etc. like use yours as a template for mine. doesn't seem like there is a way to do that.
personally i think it's kind of a pain to setup a clashfinder. maybe i'm just not doing it right.

maybe it’s just you?
There are a lot of critically acclaimed, well known acts on this lineup

Oh no I agree , starting up a Roo one fresh would be a pain. I’m not sure about copying other clashes. Sorry hopefully someone shall be of better service to you sir.
I put 16 King Gizz songs in my playlist and that barely feels like enough. I've been waiting for this set
Also put in 9 Jason Isbell songs but he just has so many good ones I didn't feel like narrowing it down
It was hard to narrow down the Lana songs on my playlist haha. I just put the NFR setlist on it... I hope she blesses us with some good Ultraviolence cuts. I need to hear West Coast and Shades of Cool.

Just discovered Yola and Dynohunter! Yola has an incredible voice, didn’t know Dan Auerbach produced her album, also cool to see she’s nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys.
Dynohunter seems to be the only house act on the lineup, please don’t mess this up and book them at 3pm on Other.

I think if I can make Friday include all of Tool, RTJ, 1975, Primus, Glass Animals, Marc, Uncle Acid and maybe Brittany, Turkuaz and Tipper, then it'll probably be my favorite day of Roo since I started going in 16.
