Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Fully vaccinated girlfriend and four of the five girls she went with on a trip this week to the beach all got covid. I'm getting nervous.
At this point, I’m kind of going to be actively pissed if Bonnaroo doesn’t mandate vaccination or a negative test…or, if they can’t because the government of TN won’t let them, come out and say that. They’d be choosing not pissing off a bunch of selfish pricks over doing something important for the health and safety of their attendees. It borders on grossly irresponsible.

UPCOMING SHOWS 5/14 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse @ Forest Hills 6/8 and maybe 6/9 - Governors Ball 8/17 - King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard @ Forest Hills 9/4 - Pearl Jam @ MSG 9/7 - Pearl Jam @ Wells Fargo Center 9/11 - St. Vincent @ Brooklyn Paramount
Is Foo Fighters playing any fests besides Roo that are not currently requiring vacc/neg test? I know they were requiring it for their own shows, then Lolla and now Bottlerock are requiring it. I feel like some major dropouts are inevitable if Roo doesn't require the same. Hopefully artists have put the pressure on them.
haven't gotten to watch it yet, gonna try to find it tonight
This is incredible, I love how they've accepted their place as a meme band and are just having so much fun with it. All 5 members look like they're in different bands lol, but they sound great. Definitely want to catch a show on this tour if I can, especially if they get booked at another multi-genre festival

I wasn’t home so I didn’t have the tv and only caught a few clips of Foo Fighters. I saw My Hero, Monkey Wrench and Everlong and a part where Dave was introducing his daughter and mentioning X (the band). Did they cover True Love or something? They’re never going to suck at this point but Hulu fucked up all my pauses, so I didn’t get to see if it was run of the mill fest FF show - which would still be good - or if it was anything special.

Nausea (the X song). She sang.
Oh wow. That’s a pretty random cover song. I only ever saw X once. I only got the first 20 minutes of the show because I went to go see Snoop Dogg. It was some album anniversary show at Voodoo. They were more late 70’s punk before hardcore had taken hold, but I always respected them. John Doe, DJ Bonebreak, Billy Zoom and Exene. That was an odd band but kinda og. Their era was kind of them and The Blasters who were a little too rockabilly for my tastes.

limp bizkit was so much fun to watch on saturday god damn. watched it again on sunday. checked out their tour dates, just not sure i'll be able to swing it in the next couple weeks though. def on the bucket list to see them again after watching that. my hopes are high with them potentially putting out an album. i should say hopes are high for them touring
pretty sure all that recent Weeknd activity is probably about his HBO show, maybe he has a separate album but idk he's been talking about it for a while but seems like it's officially been announced now
So yesterday I texted with some friends in the Manchester area about how things are going. There's still a few things up in the air, especially given that the county is filing suit against the city over the annexation. But the MPD is already getting ready, local charities and ballteams are going to be raising money, the entrance booths are still looking for additional help, and much is getting ready the same as it always is a month out.
The one interesting thing I did learn is that because Bonnaroo is on private property, they are (supposedly) entirely within their rights to ask for proof of vaccination or negative test. They can't ask any public official to do it, but their private security or volunteer force can.

Then there is no excuse for this not to happen at this stage.

Agreed. I don't want to speculate too much on it because I've only heard bits and pieces, but apparently there have been some talks about it. Both local officials and participating artists have had conflicting requests.

They'll just have to make a call on it really soon if they're going to do it. We're already past the point at which someone starting a two-shot vaccine regimen today would reach peak inoculation by the festival dates. Talks, shmalks - it's time to shit or get off the pot.
I know I'm probably annoying with my harping about this. We're just getting more reports about infections happening at mass outdoor events, and I simply can't see any logic in not doing everything you can as an event organization to mitigate that sort of thing and protect your attendees.

The thing that keeps running through my mind: How many people have stubbornly held out on a vaccine this long, and would only be persuaded to do it to be able go to Bonnaroo? If you haven't gotten it by now, then too bad, you didn't do the right thing anyways.
