Was really excited for this Turkauz RIL show because I love that Talking Heads album. But now I’m getting really excited for the Turkauz songs we get as well. I am loving European Festivity Nightmare, sounds just like a Phil Collins song to me, it’s a bop and I can’t stop playing it. Curious what the set list is gonna look like, they stated they were playing songs from that album and others right. Along with their own. What songs do you guys think we will get off of RIL, what other talking head songs from other albums, and what Turkauz songs do you think they’ll play??

Awh is it really just Talking Heads songs. I was fine with that at first because that was my reason to see them. But now I’m really starting to like Turkauz too. How long are they supposed to play for?

I refuse to believe that any reality with a 3 hour Giz ln set is anything but glorious. But for the rest of the acts, I just lifted the consensus from the various linked clashfinders
Just wanted to state every time I hear this new single by Glass Animals it just sounds like Promiscuous by Nelly Furtando. Seriously it’s like a force of habit for me to just sing “promiscuous girl“ every time the chorus kicks in. Sounds practically identical to me.

No one really knows. All we’ve had to go on wasn’t a recent interview with Jerry Harrison where he says that they will play some of Remain In Light, but probably not in order and they may skip some songs (I think “Listening Wind” was mentioned). Then he mentions they will also probably play some Turkauz and maybe some Adrian Belew solo stuff.

I'm guessing this would be the earliest sell out ever, but I don't know if they've always imposed the 80k cap in the past either.
It feels good to see how much this festival has bounced back since 2016 and 2017. Leading up to 2017 I wasn’t sure if I’d ever be this excited to come back to Roo again.

If you want to believe Festive Owl then it's the quickest sellout since 02.
In the past they've played a bit fast and loose with capacity, though, so I'm not sure how the actual pace of sales compares.

Hey guys looking for who the potential late night jam bands that will be rocking until the sun come up would be? I haven't been to roo in about 8 years and always enjoyed the Moe., Umphrey's, STS9, Disco biscuits like jam sets that last until the sun comes up. Who on the Friday and Saturday lineup would be filling that spot for me?

hate to say it but it is unlikely there will be a band playing until the sun comes up. since you last went to bonnaroo they have gotten a lot stricter about bands not playing past their scheduled time.
However the Other stage, which is now almost exclusively electronic bass artists, will go until sunrise.

Pigeons is the only hope for a long late night jam band set. It won’t go until sunrise though. We will be getting a King Gizzard late set, and the are a decent band to see if not slightly overrated on this forum. They don’t suck. There’s possibly a shot at Primus, obviously not a jam band either but musically superior.
