My GF and I for a host of reasons were not going to be able to do Roo this year after going to the past 2, but after seeing the lineup, we want to get to the farm at least for Friday. ATM were going to buy the one day ticket that comes with a shuttle pass to and from Nashville.
My question is if we wanted to get one late Roo night in and missed the shuttle at 3AM to Nashville, how hard would it be to get back without a car? Could we easily get off the farm to somewhere we could get an uber or taxi from, or is it not worth risking missing the shuttle? Is there another shuttle that comes, or would we have to set up a ride beforehand?

not impossible, but not pleasant either.
i don't have any direct experience with this, but i'd imagine your best bet would be to walk to the winery and bushy branch road and catch an uber from there. that is a decent hike from centeroo to the back of the campgrounds and then down bushy branch a ways. maybe as much as an hour of walking, and it will feel long after a full day on the farm. but even then uber would be what, $75-100? if one is even available at that time. someone else maybe can speak to the availability of ubers during the wee hours of the morning.
i'd just stick with the shuttle schedule. i wouldn't be able to enjoy myself after 3am anyway thinking about everything i'll need to do just to get back.

Thank you for that info. Yea, we were thinking since our friends were doing the full weekend we would stick around with them at night and try to find a way out in the morning, but I am a little worried about the feasibility of that.
I have experience with this. I had to leave Sunday morning this year to catch a flight. If you miss the 3am shuttle there are taxi services in Manchester you can call that will pick you up right outside of a tool booth. However, they are by schedule only, I was able to get a ride out by calling with 1% battery life a day before. Uber will not pick you up from bonnaroo since the local taxi companies have some sort of deal (not sure the specifics just what I was told by my taxi driver).
