You're such a fake ass Belgian going to all the Dutch festivals 🤣 JK of course.
I must admit that Belgium could use a festival like Down The Rabbit or BKS. Werchter/Pukkelpop don't really change that much and are way too mainstream, Dour is sooo long (5, 6 days?) and more focused on hip hop / edm. Every time I went I came back a wreck.
I'd love for an indoor festival like Polsslag (Pukkelpop's little brother) to make a return. Those were the days...

I'm making plans to go to Rewire aswell - which makes 4, lol. I'm kinda tired of the huge masses of Werchter and Pukkelpop is just a massive mess the past couple of years. Dour is cool but it's really long, very far and truely wreckening as you said. The line up is very deep each year but you can tell a lot has changed in the past 5 years.. And not in a good way. There are some smaller festivals in Belgium which I like but don't necesserily have the pull factor that Dutch festivals have..
