Per the FAQ on single day tickets “single day tickets will be available at a later date barring a full sell out”
Are we anticipating a full sell out here? In a perfect world I would love to go Friday and enjoy Vegas the rest of the weekend.
Any thoughts are appreciated, it’s my first time at LiB so I was unsure how it usually goes..
i've never been to LIB, but in 2019 single day tickets did go on sale so they didn't sell out of 3 days then. Having said that I don't think we can necessarily use 2019 performance to judge 2021 performance. if all goes well and Fall 2021 is dense with festivals, tickets could be easy for all of them. but LIB is ahead of the game for putting tickets on sale, so people hungry for anything could just snatch up tickets to it.
Theyll probably sell out of the presale cause its cheaper and those who buy tickets do not give a shit who is playing since they just wanna go to a festival. The rest will follow on the line up drop. If its similar to 2019 then itll sell in no time. Look at it this way, save your money while you can and get the early bird. If you dont like the line up then you have a profitable resale ticket in your hand.
Damn it, this is the same weekend as Riot Fest. It feels so good to be pissed off by conflicting festivals again.
Ahh, shit -- I didn't realize that. I went to LiB for the first time in 2019 and really enjoyed the old Vegas setup. Was strongly considering a return, but bought early bird Riot Fest tickets and got friends to go in as well, so I'm committed to that should it happen. God, the Sept/Oct calendar is going to be nuts.

I wouldn't be so sure about that profitable resale -- even on Early Birds. I bought two GA passes to the 2019 edition on Stubhub the week of (7 days out to be exact), and paid less than $215 each. That wasn't an anomaly and it was a pretty huge hit for the seller, even if they got the initial discount.

Never know, the demand can be there since theyre making the jump of being first and people might go crazy. And yeah, flights to Chicago for Riot Fest are gonna be cheap af so maybe jump on that if you need to.
I really wanna come back but I’m prob sitting out this fest season unless I’m blown away by a lineup and I’m just not expecting that from any fest I would reasonably go to. Like already Tame and the weekend do nothing for me.
I'm absolutely stoked to see it, not because I'm interested in going, but just because it'll be cool to see the first mid-major lineup to give us an idea of what others might look like
Yeah, Bad Bunny is gonna get a few headline spots for the moment. Its a good place to do it since its Vegas and his fans will like the idea of going there.

maybe someone who knows more will correct me but I think an American festival is going to be very hesitant about booking a headliner who’s songs are Spanish language

Bad Bunny is stupid popular, even among those who don't speak Spanish so it shouldn't be too much of an issue. I mean, many of us would line up to see Sigur Rós even though we don't know a damn word they're saying.

As stated above he is really popular right now. He just did SNL and even showed up in a couple of sketches which were very good. Plus being on WWE every week is keeping his profile out there other than the streaming numbers. And if youre booking a festival and he is avail you get him. Gotta find new customers and revenue streams. Thats the underlying goal of having more globally minded line ups. Getting people who wouldnt think of setting foot at a festival unless a big name artist they like is there is what needs to be done. Like Coachella booking Kpop is another example of that. If that fanbase enjoys their experience why would they not want to come back the next year and spend their dollars.
Hopefully in the morning a LV newspaper gets the scoop before whatever the hell they do on IG happens. Or it comes up on the website early cause an intern hit the wrong button.

J Balvin essentially headlined Lolla
the dual headliner thing gets messy, I could see Bad Bunny playing Lolla in the same spot as Balvin. But not unopposed

arent all headliners opposed at lolla?
They are.
The fact that Bad Bunny has gotten this popular without any live concerts in a year shows how huge his appeal is. He's a massive headliner wherever he plays at.
