Yea they have fests booked and probably will have more. I'm not sure how you can say they're not active.
I have an even more extreme case that I'm not even going to try. A band that hasn't played in the time frame and hasn't announced any shows yet, but they're obviously going to soon because they're recording an album as we speak.
Is it mandatory to draft an act as "playing x album" or "(# sets)" or can we just draft the act and decide that later?
If they are playing multiple sets then the additional set(s) come out of your UDFA's and are noted in the OP. Somebody earlier picked someone playing two unique sets and it's just noted under their selections. (Same would hold true if trading UDFAs.)
Edit: And feel free to highlight special sets but I do not list them in the OP because it's just too much to keep up with and adds clutter.
I know that, but not by the rules of the game. So a grey area. If there were a vote id let it happen but I get why people are questioning it.
Personally, I wasn't aware of the two upcoming festival dates so I'm fine unless they've been out there stating that these are the only shows that they will be playing. Then they wouldn't have enough to qualify.

As ref, I don't think Pavement qualifies. They only have two shows announced and specifically said those would be their only live shows of this year.
Festivals can take place in 2021. I think the burden of proof is met for “potentially active”.
anyone alive can play shows at anytime, Pavement at this point feels more like two one off shows. Malkmus is still actually touring with his own band and recording a Jicks album, so as ref I say no.
