Theo is crushing it in the sense that actually looks the most like a plausible lineup of any of the 20 going so far and it's still all killer no filler
Last year I tried and desperately failed to pick a diverse lineup that I thought others would like (they didn't). This year I'm picking artists that I love and its going great

Of the 6 I've done this one is shaping up to be the most "me"

Feels good because 1. I think my lineup is objectively great and 2. at least if it doesn't do well in voting, I'll still be happy with the finished product. This game is way too much work to end up disappointed with what you have

Interesting actually, do/did you think that you needed a diverse line up to win? I've always kind of started from artists I love and after a while found my concept which is weirdly enough different to the two Infinity Draft's I've done cause there I had a clear vision in what I wanted my festival to be and represent.

I'm trying to prioritize picking the shit I love, and then also finding things I like a lot that match well with the shit I love so the lineup has some consistency and doesn't just feel like a random shuffle playlist of Nathan's favorites. It's fun!
I'm foregoing being competitive this draft. I have a nebulous idea of what I'm going for with my lineup, and I'm just challenging myself to stick to that as much as possible while still making picks that make me happy.

I’m definitely just snagging stuff I like and would actually want on a festival lineup for my own tastes, but still attempting to strike some degree of balance. Not sure mine will end up looking like a Roo lineup though...lol
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
