Well I don't have any substance because her setlist.fm doesn't have any info
But I can't imagine that she wouldn't play LCD Soundsystem songs if she is billed with LCD Soundsystem next to her.
But of course, there's no evidence and that's how she's always been billed.
I assumed that the LCD descriptor was just for our benefit and it wouldn't be that way on a poster since LCD was drafted by someone else.
Idk that's how she is on the gov ball lineup so I imagine that's how she'd be on his poster. Which falls in line with the rules, I just wish her setlists were updated to see if she plays LCD songs

I don't think that it is in line with our rules. No other solo performer is identified by their more popular band. I think if her set is identified that way therm the burden is on Pepe Silvia to prove that her set includes less than six LCD songs.

I can agree with this. I thought we had a rule about billing based on how they were billed in the past. I've billed Big Grams (Big Boi + Phantogram) before because that's how they were billed. Of course their setlist is known and they don't violate that standard

I mean, if she's always listed that way then I guess there's an argument to be had but a stray poster is not definitive, IMO. I mean, Bonnaroo has had some weird listings in the past as well.
Wouldn't put this solely on the artist here. The festival is also trying to get as much sales as possible in and if billing a dj set of a not so famous member of a famous band like "person (known from band X)" then yeah.. I'd get that.

I mean how frequently do you see David Byrne (of the Talking Heads!) listed on a poster?

He's litteraly the front man lmao. (not even taking into account yet that he has a solo career that spans longer than TH).
