Tbh if it was closer to a ~50/50 split in this draft (as opposed to how Monie and I are the only chicks in it), I doubt it would be as notable to the participants overall that women are going faster than usual. I honestly came into it with a lot of female acts on my board, despite whatever Sang is doing haha, but I'm learning (both from conversations that have taken place on the thread & from listening to the podcast now) that in years past, it was notably male act driven.

Katy had that one line up with Infinty Draft of like ABBA, Talking Heads etc, that was pretty diverse IIRC? But other than that, yeah no. Things have changed over the years and as said on the podcast, maybe aswell for the better so that line ups dont actually look the same all the time.

I just picked up jack from the airport and we’re now sitting at breakfast discussing who I should pick and how NERD are producers first, musical act second and discussing their (and Pharrell’s) setlists in depth.

A few of us have historically had lineups skewed more female than others.
Not to be that guy, but can you draft NERD if I have Pharrell?
I mean, looking at their setlists and it’s hard to go off of that bc they’re all really short or not filled out.
If their setlists average 6 or more of his songs then no.
Bc they both play so much stuff they produced for other people and the lack of info for NERD I can’t prove or disprove that they do or don’t so I’ll leave it alone.
