My long hair is annoying but I kinda just want to see how long it can get. It’s not like I’m gonna be meeting girls so my appearance really doesn’t matter

I constantly grow mine out even though it never looks longer than a little past my shoulders due to my curls. I was just questioning why do I do this to myself.
I went three months without a hair cut (March to June), and that's probably the longest I had ever gone without.
I went from early March to late July. Not my longest ever, but it was super annoying. In the end, I just got the trimmers and started going to town on it because I get it three guarded anyway. abrakapokus had to come rescue it because frustration is not a good foundation for cutting your hair.
I got may hair cut in mid-March in the weekend after they closed schools but before they closed everything else and just got it cut again a week and a half ago. I like having long hair but mine looks like shit from a month after a haircut to about nine months after a haircut and I can't wear a hat at work. Also, my primary mask ties at the back and that was not helping things.

Do you need masks that go around the ears and are adjustable? I can make you some. Idk if you have color limits, but I have plain black fabric, along with others and a cricut if you want something fancy on it. just a suggestion/offer. Let me know.

I've got a couple like that. The tie one is most comfortable when I'm wearing it for a longer period, like grocery shopping.

You don’t have 12 primary, 14 back ups and 10 disposable? All that color coordinate with your outfits. Along with several “I hate this fucking mask why did I buy it”?

Or is that just me?
LOL. At work I primarily wear a disposable. Other than that, the only times I'm really out and about are grocery shopping about once a week or picking up food.
Of course I literally just noticed that I'm sitting alone in my office perfectly socially distanced and I'm still wearing a mask.

I wear my mask with my headphones on at work even when I'm alone in my cubicle because it makes me feel like I'm a fighter pilot.
Long hair is better before it's mostly grey, thick and wiry. I haven't had mine cut since March and it more or less looks like shit. I'm at the stage where it's got flips and wings. lol Been since the 1990's since the last time it was this long. I thought about an extreme move and just buzzcutting the shit out of it with a buzzer. So I almost cut my hair. Happened just the other day. It was gettin' kinda long. I coulda said it wasn't my way.

Thanks, though!
Well, if you change your mind let me know. Mine are extremely comfortable, have adjustable ear straps and I have super cute fabrics. Just ask Jaz .
Also, Druid if you want those patterns we talked about, I can mail them today.

I kept making jokes saying that if the shutdown went another month, I might have just started growing it out long just to see what it looked like.
Though, that probably would have been a better for me back in my early 20s. Now, not as much.
That county is about to have a HUGE jump in cases.
I really hope not.
I am thankful that NY is one of the last states to go back to school though. Maybe there are some lessons that they can learn in the next months.
There's three visible masks in that photo and kids are germ magnetic. I wouldn't doubt if at least one of those kids in that photo without a mask on is asymptomatic, then packed like sardines in that hallway, who knows if there are classroom size restrictions and ventilation. There's definitely no ventilation in that hallway.
I am not trying to be a bitch, but Georgia's governor is fucking stupid and refuses to do anything about the rising cases in that state. Proof points to that fucking photo! It is very upsetting to me.
Also, side note. Before all this shit went down I had no idea how bad my allergies/asthma affected me on the daily and how miserable I live. It is no wonder that I thought I had it the whole time. I am really going to have to go see my doctor eventually to do something about it.

That tweet is exactly why the kids are doing the online option without hesitation. A local school district has fell back to a hybrid model for two weeks after already having positives. Another had staff test positive the Friday before class started on Monday. The high school here is having its registration day like normal for students attending in person. They do it over two days with each grade getting assigned half the day. No restrictions on how many to bring with. Even if you look at it with one guest per student, that's likely 400-600 people cycling through the high school in a four hour period. Masks are "encouraged". When abrakapokus went to pick up online school supplies, she noted the amount of masks worn by staff (who were working in close proximity) was pretty low. We're running straight into a fire, and nobody seems to care.
In other news, I had a conversation with a contractor today. It started out with standard venting about wearing a mask in the South in August being awful and getting yelled at across a parking lot for not wearing one when working alone outside where the closest person was 40 feet away minimum. I can go for that stuff. It then morphed into how it's just the flu, "everyone" knows hydroxychloroquine can cure it because of the 2005 study and that science changes to fit the politcal agenda of the moment. That, on the other hand, required expert topic changing skills on my part.
