As someone that makes masks, I found that the best way to prevent glasses fog, is to have a properly fitting mask that has a nose wire. I personal clamp the wire part down on my nose and then place my glasses right on top of that wire to make sure there is no gaps. That basically seals off the top of your mask and stops fogging. You don't want any open areas around the mask, that lessens the effectiveness against covid.
I've been trying for well over a year to find masks that don't make my glasses fog, I can live with it in day to day life but really don't want to be wiping my glasses every 5 seconds at Roo, any other glasses wearers have any suggestions?
Halyard Fluidshield Level 3 masks have been the only ones that really work for me as far as not fogging up, with the added bonus of being more protective than the flimsy blue ones or cloth ones. They can make your face bit sweaty if worn a long time on a hot day but otherwise I like them.

I attest to this.. my only fogging issues have been traveling up and down the subway with heavy gear and breathing heavily. Some fogging when it was winter and the temperature was up and down but the masks provided with wire clamps really were effective.

I'm gonna buy a couple from you at Roo if you're bringing them

I’ve found if I put my glasses just ever so slightly farther down my nose than I’m used to fog isn’t nearly as much of an issue

Isn't this a Live Nation venue. Weird they couldn't make it work.
The venue stated they are short staffed and couldnt pull it off but Isbell says otherwise. So it seems that the people who run The Woodlands are being assholes. Which makes sense since its North Houston and not Harris County.
Montgomery County sucks, and the woodlands is a pretty big/well funded venue, but my experience working there was security is not well staffed and has very little in way of general security supplies, and they do lease out to other security companies that are probably run by shitty people
He cancelled the KC show but didn't give a reason and also no statement on of he asked the venue for vaccine requirements. This was a day or two before he was on CNN announcing his policy.
My boss just said that the delta variant was caused by people getting vaccinated and that vaccines are no longer effective. I tried arguing against it but eventually got to “so even if this is true, would it have been better for no one to get vaccinated to hospitalizations and death increased?” and he said “Yes, because we should’ve just gone with treatment instead.” I’m losing my fucking mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I might go get a third pfizer shot. Really the only thing stopping me is holding out to see if the people from my trial need me again.
I'm in the same boat. I don't want to do anything to mess of the study. And they are already talking about giving us a booster.
Yep- basically I'm seeing it as Pfizer is suggesting it's needed. What I'm reading pfizer's "booster" is the same shot as the other two.
The CDC says it's not needed, but they've change their mind so much at this point I imagine they'll be recommending it in a few months. Wonder if the pharmacist would put it on my same card that I got three, or if I just need to lie and say I havent gotten anything.

The pharmacist will NOT put it on your card. You will have to lie. It’s not in our protocols to give a third shot.

the “hilarious” thing about it is that he’s vaccinated!

Anybody got any insight about the health risks of getting an MRNA vaccine after already getting a "lesser" vaccine (such as AstraZenica or a Chinese/Russian shot)? Asking for a friend.

I believe I saw a study a bit ago that found the combination of pfizer and astrazeneca was safe and effective. I'll see if I can find it.

I'd rather the kids under 12 start getting jabbed before I get my 3rd one, and I was a proponent of under 60s cutting the line to getting jabbed in March to reduce wasted vials.
