I agree with your logic but from years of asking you to do something, I know what your response will be (even though you love asking others to do things ). I don't think your vote on Maddog is helpful at this moment. That's what I will say.

actually a solid point lol. I think Dan has contributed a good bit recently and the Mad Dog post makes sense but no smoking gun. I think no matter which way we go here we're basically guessing. Not the best logic for voting but I would feel the worst if third mafia was Theo and we didn't pursue him early.
Just noticed this...yesterday, Dan said he was most suspicious of Potent and Carini but then opted for Carini for run-off purposes. Today, when I probed the Carini voters for why, he said "I was fine with Carini, but maybe should've done Maddog." Why the shift from Potent to MD, the latter of which he didn't even mention yesterday when making his vote decision?
I think Dan has brought up some really great points for Town, but he's also had a fair amount of influence in run-off switches and I don't know if I'll honestly get to a point where I feel I can trust him this game. If I was left in D5 with Dan and someone else, I think I'd almost certainly vote for him at that point over the other remaining person. Which makes me feel like, maybe I just need to switch over to him now.

Just went back to look at the exact quote where you cited the switch in thinking...and yeah, you said you were "reconsidering the assumption." Fair. Sorry I missed that--wasn't intentional. There's been a wholeeee lotta back and forth, and people pulling quotes then saying "no wait, not THAT CONVO," it has been sort of discombobulating.
And I'm letting myself overthink things too much. You've been sus to me at times, but not that much recently, and MD is much more of a cloud of confusion right now.

I am actually chortling at my screen right now. Everyone appears about equally uncertain of what the fuck to do--yet obviously one of us is playing up that role, when really they have the critical info the rest of us are lacking. It is quite hilarious to watch, but also super frustrating esp as I recognzie that I am certainly amongst the ones guilty of adding to the confusion due to just not knowing where the hell to go rn

Well, for one, you would have been voted directly off and will still be with no vote moves.
For a second, I'm uncomfortable with the fact that it is you and Theo who were the two to move to Maddog. This doesn't speak to my suspicions of Maddog, which are there but I"m suspicious of everybody but Jaz. It will take some orchestrating and people to go along with it, but I think the best runoff will be you vs. Theo, and let Jaz choose between you two. The two of you should have been the runoff yesterday, but weird things happens and Carini was directly lynched and shown to be town. I'm not thrilled if it's again supposed to be the two of you and then ends of being neither or you, or only one of you. My top suspicions are of King T and Theo; I think Jaz' point about JTR's comment on the save is something to consider for King T. Therefore, I'm on Theo, and I think you should switch to him, and then someone on you should switch to Theo so that Theo can move to you to make it 3-3.

I'm also generally uncomfortable with how much and how Theo has moved his vote around on D3. It could be a townie pointing in every direction because they don't know better, but it could also be a mafia trying to blend in and ride coattails and predominant sentiment.
Frankly, I don't know that we'll have any success until we answer the Theo question.

I have more of a town read on both of them, while I haven't been able to read you at all this game.
Interesting see rummy finally get some heat, she's been the least gone after, but again just felt like narrative just flipped in the final seconds

I think I was way quieter and complacent that game, when I was mafia. And then last game decided to have some fun as chaotic town, and ppl lynched me thinking I was mafia. Now this game I think I’ve been about middle level vocal, and am town again but did say from the start wouldn’t be going the aggro/chaotic town route this time. But still have now raised suspicions lol.

FWIW I think that more than anything goes to show that by D3 any non confirmed townie *should* be pursued as potential mafia and scrutinized for their play.
