I came into the Day with my vote on Potent to see where others went, but as town on Day 4, I feel like sometimes you just need to go with your damn gut.
There’s a lot we can point out, and have, re: why it is unlikely that King T is the 3rd. But as we can look back at Jortles’ long post and recount, there’s reason to question any of us being the third. And all I know right now is that it would feel a whole lot shittier for town to lose after I ignored my gut and voted against it than if we lost with everyone trying their best to vote where they felt they should.
I was on that mafia team with Kanye & Jaz two games ago where we tried the “get the doctor to save a mafioso” scheme...and this whole game, it has been nagging at me “would he really try that again SO SOON (with King T as the one to be saved this time), when it is fresh on all our minds?” But you know what? He might’ve been banking on us dismissing the idea because it happened so recently. I could see that. I’m following this thread til it’s natural end, bc while others really wanted to answer the “Theo question,” as you can tell from my voting over the duration, I’ve been wanting to answer the “King T question”

I really think king t is the wrong choice here. Seems like everyone’s playing for day 5 instead of trying to find mafia.
I already explained my reasoning. I’ll be honest, if I’m in D5, I’m voting hard for either MD or King T, whichever remains. That’s where I’m at. I’d like to see the latter go first though. Because if then we do make it to D5, all 3 of us (you me potent) all seem to be on the it-could-be-MD train, so I don’t think he has a safe option of who to bring into that day w him if he’s the third.

2. Frankly, I will be IRATE if King T is mafia and they win that way. That's part of what's driving my thinking right now - which combo would I least want to lose to? And invariably it comes back to the possibility of mafia planting inspector seeds for doctor to save him and waste the save, and I don't want to lose that way. I'd feel better with King T out and confirming him town, to be honest.

Is this in reference to me? I told you no such thing. I went back to read it again to be sure. I remember being frustrated and a little skeptical when you switched your vote, because what I was really hoping was that Rummy or Maddog would switch to you, giving Jaz you, Theo, Maddog as his choices.

But I’m thinking this time, it actually does make sense to lay my cards on the table. Given that I’m leaning town for both Potent and Dan, feel totally unsure re: MD, and still have this damn gut feeling about King T I haven’t been able to shake, and seeing that Potent agrees with me on that opinion, we really need either MD or T to be the lynch today.

If he’s the third, he doesn’t seem to have a clear path of a “safe townie” to bring with him into D5.
