Oh yeah I’m in. Also Rooloo, just wondering, why did you say me and Jortles?
Well first off I was convinced T was inspector and I'm not exactly sure why you two. Jortles was in that runoff with me so that's something, and I had just been calling you guys out for vote switching so I thought it would look like distancing. It wasn't pre-planned though it looked like me and Kanye were both taking heat and I thought I was the given name because of the quick double stack and then what King T was saying (turns out all that was irrelevant but I was still the given name) and then like 10 mins later I sent it. I suggested someone else who I forget for the 2nd name and Kanye chose you lol
Haaaa y'all shoulda kept me alive, I thought it was Danbob or Rummy.
And for newer or future refs: one of your primary aims should be to not influence the outcome of the game in any way. I'm just gonna leave that at that. In for next though.

I went with convention there. I'm always suspicious when someone's biggest supporter stays alive, and at that point I was still a little under radar

Yeah, I can understand that. Other than King T you were at the bottom of my list; well played.

People never believe me when I tell them I am awful at this game.

You're not awful though. You provided a lot of good strategy support when we were Mafia together. And even though it sucked the save wasn't on the Inspector, still dope job on achieving a save this game--thank god our Doctor didn't die D1 again FOR THE THIRD TIME IN A ROW.

potentpotables Just wanted to resurface the convo about pre and post reveal. I'm really on team Jaz there where my feeling is everything after the reveal is basically bullshit as far as votes and personality goes. If you can get something like King T OBVIOUSLY looking like a new Townie with post after post after post, or Dan saying "good luck Town" as he thinks he's about to die, that is something. But in my mind all of the real information is found before the reveal if you know you are down to one townie.
I also think, as a group we need to relax with the "Mafia would do extremely unlikely things, so lets lynch someone that would be extremely unlikely"... like Theo or King T. Can't we just start voting for the most likely scenario?
I put in so much effort to explain why I thought King T, Theo, Rummy, and Potent were Town. Dan and Maddog were my main two suspects. Long ass posts. So the Town goes on to lynch Carini King T and Theo and could have potentially left my two suspects alive on Day 5. I was sitting here steaming lol.
potentpotables I'm riding through my old neighborhood near where we met and it is so fuckkng empty it is like a movie. Everything is locked down, not a single restaurant or bodega open. Good thing I'm in Manhattan now with food options lol

I would say a couple of things:
1. I don't disagree that the answers are found pre-reveal. As you were following along today, surely you saw that I was on pages 12-20 of this game reading and re-reading this morning like nobody's business. I continually posted the count before the rooloo leak to get to the point.
I just also think that there are ways that people spin things later on that can aid in the town's defense as well. Continually talking with Danbob and Rummy led me to believe that both of them were town by the end, and you'll notice on D4 and D5 I didn't point at either of them. I am hesitant to go along with the dogpiling on someone to eliminate them, I always will be.
2. I found the King T scenario quite plausible. Especially two things, both that you pointed out: (1) not understanding that the save of him was not beneficial to town, and (2) your whole thing when you gave us Kanye's name. If you go back and read that, you said what was the next post, and Kanye sidestepped it and tried to turn attention elsewhere. I asked you if you were talking about rooloo's next post, or the post after rooloo's leak, you responded the latter, I switched to Kanye. But King T kept up the gig "with" Kanye, which I found suspect. It really boiled down to, on D4, that I wasn't going to lose to someone in that way. If I would have got to D5 with me/Maddog/King T, I don't know what I would have done.
3. You also said (and this is true) that once you revealed, you knew nothing more than anyone else. I took that to heart. I kept coming back, on D4, to King T pointing to your defense of him, as if you didn't essentially defend me, or Rummy.
Also, obviously the Carini thing was a mistake where there was no count for awhile, the town headed one direction, then people went in different directions. I remember gathering the tally at that point, wondering if I would beat the clock, and if anyone would switch, but I know I had no idea that Carini was going to be straight voted out. I'm against that in almost every situation with unknown players. That was the big mistake.
Shit's hard man. You were obviously the reason we won, and deserve mad respect. I'm glad we didn't screw it up in the end.

I think the "likely scenario" gets into trouble sometimes when mafia plays that way though (weird misdirected whacks early mostly), idk while I've been playing I feel like there's been a shift from "this is obvious" to "is this misdirect?". I do think it will shift back because adding the doctor makes it harder to pull off fakes because if you name someone as mafia in a fake and they're doctor that can blow up

One main thing I want to respond to.
I, along with any inspector in the history of the game, actually didn’t know anymore info than anyone else once I revealed.
However, I was a guaranteed townie who had laid out every nook and cranny of every read I had. You seemed to look at some of them, but Im always surprised by how rare it is for someone to just admit that they agree with a read and hold on to that read. I was particularly happy with some of the points I made about Rummy, T and Maddog that went unnoticed. Idk, im glad you guys figured it out. I still think we need to have these post game discussions to figure out a way to get better as town.

Certainly true. I mean, you killed it, it's evident for all to see.
Only thing I will say is that this game was about 36 pages in, like, 4 days? It was a lot of shit to read. But also, I'm glad the more talking we did led to the town win.
Lastly, King T's "because fuck you that's why" post was enough for me to vote for him until he was out.

FWIW, I did pay attention to your posts, and at the end there, I felt very confident in my choosing to go for MD over Potent (and even in D4 recognized MD was probably the *most* sus, but logistically, it made sense to lynch T first since both Potent & I were a bit hung up on him), and part of that is by way of what you laid out for us in addition to what I picked up on myself. So your post did help!
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
So when it comes to Implicated Townies - in this instance, Theo post-reveal - do you guys think it's more beneficial to Mafia or Town to vote them off? Jortles and I briefly expressed views on this in the dead thread. When Implicated players are Town, lynching them to erase doubt is essentially a free lynch for the Mafia in return for more focused Town effort in the next day (because the doubt about the Implicated player is no longer hanging over you). Obviously, free lynches for Mafia isn't a good thing. On the other hand, leaving that player alive allows the Mafia to continually use that doubt to lead the town astray, providing them with power over the course of multiple rounds. It's also worth mentioning that it's not been uncommon in the past for Mafia to Implicate other Mafia (via fake Inspectoring, rage-quitting, fake slip-ups), so it's not alway likely that all Implicated players are innocent. Anyone else have thoughts on this for overall strategy in future games?

i almost tried to convince Jortles that we should lynch him, but the hang up is, you would have been that whack so no information gained.
At some point I had thought about whacking Theo, but at that point I had already kind of dug in so I probably would've got more attention.
