The banter between Surfer and Dan always throws me off. And definitely not helped by the fact that Dan is shouting about how he knows Surfer is mafia, yet switches his vote off to keep him out of the runoff? Whats the point of blowing all that smoke and then not acting on it? Dan is a much more experienced player than me so I wouldn't really expect him to show his cards like that but it just comes off as strange to me.
I’ll gladly switch back if people want to pursue my read on surfer, but I’m getting the “old man yelling from his porch” treatment rn so not going to waste the energy.

I'm fine with that if we actually have a clear direction to go in. Day 1 is when we have the most power as town and I feel like it's always wasted with us just patiently waiting for something to actually happen

Fair enough. I'm willing to be transparent here (no one tell Jortles!!!!!) and state that I moved because given this Dan/you banter so far, I think y'all in the run-off together is a solid way to go.

All these vote switches are not going to be fun to sort through later. Theo has now switched his vote 5 times, Jortles is at like 4, Danbob has been back and forth. Are these all just completely random? I understand changing you mind but switching to and from the same players seems more like causing cloudiness than gaining new information and making a vote based on that. Whats up?

I actually thought last game D1 did a great job of getting information out there - bad luck that the doctor and inspector were thrown in. This game I think we are following suit, but I do think that Dan and Kanye read as townies right now, and I think I have a read on what Dan is doing. Obviously more information can change this, but I'd rather look at a runoff without those two in.

I just think we need to actually work together. No one should really be super suspicious of anyone rn. Hell, most mafia teammates I've had are super helpful townies day 1 because that seems to work best. I think, as I stated in round 1, that we shouldve geared our first runoff differently instead of the random votes we are using now. I think we shouldn't be so partial to our original day 1 votes. Based on the original runoff I wanted, me and rooloo are the only ones left that had crossover. Jortles was on one the groups of 4 (last 4 to vote). Dan wasn't on any fwiw. SO in a vacuum, without the way dan is acting- I think Jortles v Rooloo is the best 2way. Outside a vacuum, I'd like to see dan pushed forward, but I also accept that that isnt ahelpful way for town to think and it's entirely defensive

I don't disagree with this. I don't really know what Dan has got going on but I don't want to put a vote on him, and I don't want to vote alongside him. Right now I have more of a problem with Jortles and Theo having both switched their vote numerous times, and now Theo just switched off Jortles again, which happens to be onto me, the only person I am 100% certain to be town. Not liking that and I want to see Jortles move forward.

I don't think there's anything wrong with doing a lot of vote switches. My first 2 were mistakes, as I just didn't read and I didn't see Potent moved his vote to Jortles, putting him in the runoff, and I moved off Jortles to Dan to put him in the runoff. I then moved back to Jortles when I realized thst. I then switched off Jortles to no one, so Jortles wouldn't get lynched, and I moved back to Jortles after the round was done. The only completely unforced switch I've done is from Jortles to Rooloo. Rooloo is concerning me by presenting what I've done without any context, trying to push some sort of narrative on me and Jortles.

Why were you not okay with putting Jortles in a lynch position, but you are okay with putting Rooloo in a go-ahead-lynch scenario. It looks like your "accidental" switch was so you didn't lynch jortles, yet your switch off of jortles puts rooloo in a lynching spot. Seems weird to me idk

I moved to Rooloo after he fell out of the next runoff. I don't feel good about lynching Jortles in that scenario, without giving him a chance to hear what he has to say.
