I agree with Cap on this. I have repeatedly tried to give Bon Iver a shot but I just can't get into it. For me it's mainly the falsetto. I can't get past it.
I think it's funny how people on Inforoo will take any chance they can to shit on Coldplay - and then in the same breath they'll gush over Bon Iver, which is 1000000x more boring than anything Coldplay has ever done. I seriously don't know how people can listen to that for any length of time without falling asleep - he's just whining about his feelings very slowly, and in an annoyingly high falsetto. I'd compare it to watching flies fuck, but that, I might actually get some amusement out of.
For the record: if anyone ever hears me talking about how much I love Bon Iver, I have been kidnapped and that is my distress signal.
Lmao I actually tried my best to stay pretty neutral/ambivalent about Coldplay in that post just because they tend to get shit on a lot
