Kendrick is a hotter festival ticket festival than Jay-Z in 2020.
This is the infinity draft though
We are still picking with a 2020 mindset. Jay-Z live is as good as it gets, but personally (and I think most around here) would prefer Kendrick at this point.

best performance possible i really think it's kendrick. when he wants to do something crazy he can just flip the switch. but overall in this game i see why most people view jay as having higher value.
Having seen them both in a variety of scenarios, I’m more moved by a Kendrick performance right now. Jay-Z is more polished and had Tony Royster Jr on drums which was always a bonus, but I don’t think he’s connected well with Zoomers. I would also take rather Kendrick over Groove Sessions.

both are great, it’s why I took Kendrick the first time. Both are repeats though and I haven’t had Jay since my first draft. Really should love set my fest in NYC for that Jay > Sinatra run but Bing beat me to it.

with it being titled kingstock i would have assumed it took place in upstate NY

”really? Cause I’m from Utica and I’ve never heard the phrase ‘Kingstock’”
Jay Z is a better emcee, has a better catalogue and a better live show.
Strongly disagree on the catalogue
Jay: 3 classics, 3 other very strong albums, more good songs overall and way more legendary songs
Kendrick: 2 classics, 3 other very strong albums (if Im being nice), way less great songs
I mean the true hot take is that Kendrick had to have “super intellectual stories and deep themes” to produce classic albums where Jay just made classics purely based on the music being great.

DAMN.'s a classic imo. i'm still consistently listening to it front to back, and i think it's only gotten better w time. just cause it ain't a 10 like TPAB doesn't mean it's not worthy of that title.

I just have higher standards for that title... like Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, and Black Album standards. Not 7.5/10s
