As mentioned in the podcast, I also like the idea of an “opening statement” about your lineup / making a case for it. Also prefer public voting for the schedule breakdowns.

Also against bracket voting here. 25 people would be weird to manage, and also if CDev is against it then I am too. Plus the fests are just too different. I think we should try to find a way to make it public still. Like instead of a poll, we just list out our top 15, etc
Whatever, if it doesn't pan it.. It doesn't pan out..
Prop 1: Coachella Draft Voting Process to be implemented into Infinity Draft - One prelimerary round of voting by poll - top 16 advanced and gets put into brackets by the result of the poll (seeding) - voting is public except for the first round - in case of a tie, a poll gets posted for 24h (?) to decide who should move on
-> different here is the change in case of a tie and no people get picked up to get to 16 people (in Coachella, 12 people moved on and 4 people got picked up)
Changing the process to public aswell in the finals to compromise to some people (trantsgiving , tЯist♡n etc.). Hope that's okay for the rest of the people who voted for?

I’m not married to the bracket system but I would like to implement public voting somehow.
The thing that I did not enjoy about the brackets was the lobbying people to change picks and disparaging of others' lineups. Just pimp your lineup.
Also, several of my favorite lineups went out earlier than they would have if they were up against the field instead of against one particular lineup.
On a personal note, not really interested in managing bracket voting.
I agree on the lobbying but eh. I don't think that much people did it and did it just to swing over some people who were indifferent. You're voting against because polling would be more democratic to get your favorite line ups to advance? That's a weird argument.

I don't think being able to vote for who you want is weird. To me, it's preferable to be able to choose my favorites out of a pool instead of being told that I have to choose between A or B and C or D. Maybe I like both C and D more than A and B.

it gives everyone more time to celebrate each lineup and dive into the 2 month project each person worked on. A rule against attacking other lineups could work to make it to where you are only hyping up your own.

What do you think about public voting?
It's not something that I am enthusiastic about keeping up with, especially in early rounds. I like the 'set it up and then wait for the results' of the poll feature personally.
Why do we care who voted for what anyways?
Mods can see who voted for what, though. Druid, is there a way to screenshot the final results so that everybody can know how everyone voted if that's something that's important?

This is a very good point. After every draft I was a part of (except the last one), I always felt like I didn't have enough feedback/comments on my lineup since we always did anonymous voting. I think incorporating public voting somehow (bracket or poll) generates a good amount of discussion that is useful for every participant who spends considerable time and effort curating their lineups.

I can see who is winning and the final results. I can not however see who voted for whom.
