What are your thoughts on who’s mafia? You have a lot of posts defending yourself but I still am not sure where your heads at.
I'd started a response to this earlier in the day and took a break after reading round 1. Should have copy/pasted from the tab because when I finished and hit send i got an error message. Everything in my life is shit right now. I might have corornavirus because of the irresponsible idiot I've been letting crash here and that's like the 3rd worst thing of the week. haha.
Anyway, I'm not going to try to rewrite it all. I basically just went into detail about round 1 and how what I would typically latch on to doesn't really stick this game with no whack to work with and the lack of final runoffs. The main thing I think that sticks out in D1R2 where Jortles is taken out and there isn't much direct gameplay regarding the voting. But Jortles actually goes off on how weird the previous round was and how it was suspicious Carini was left out to dry for so long. So after rereading that seems like a very non-mafia move from Jortles in that specific timeframe.
You've played with me for years at this point. I'm not one to throw out names if I don't feel confident or feel I lack info. The reason I have the reputation I do is because I'm good at figuring stuff out later in the game... as in when I have stuff to work with. So I'm not sure what else you'd need to know about my headspace. If you think that's insufficient, vote for me.
Not suspicious of the doctor.
Although my votes still on him I'm starting to think Kanye could be town but he's blindsided me before. Dude talks so much it can be hard to keep track of everything.
Somewhat suspicious of Jortles but what I said above leads me away from him at the moment.
Somewhat suspicious of Rummy and Teddybear.
Carini has went a little quite. Usually a tell for him but said he was gone today. Seems logical to have suspicions of him.
I never have that good of a read on you and Potent unless events in the game lead me your way and I look at your other actions.
My guess is there is two mafia in the more active players shaping the narratives and runoff. Then one of the quieter types(Rummy, Carini, Teddy). But my thoughts could change pretty quick.
yes you call out teddy/Rummy similarly but that's what I was sayi g with two active players at that point (jortles/Kanye) and rummy who I preferred over teddy for revotes

Was considering moving my vote because it looks like I'm not the only one unsure about pushing Kanye forward at the moment. If he drops out here I'd be revoting anyway... unless there's some consensus we are just going to make a final decision without narrowing things down. I would think voting now gives a little more info then a self-preservation vote next round... if I'm in it.
I bring this up because I was of the mind that folks outside the runoff should lead the charge but that's kinda hard to pull off with 5 folks in. Thoughts?

Yeah, that's all we really have at this point. I retaliated back partly because I didn't really have solid options and I thought he might be overselling his reasons to vote for me. But he did pretty much agree with what I saw wrong in his reasoning and he really didn't have to at the time.
I feel the anitial push for folks in this runoff was kind of a bum rush where it just kind of became larger than anything actually in the game. Not sure if ulterior motives where involved or what. So if I feel uneasy about my name being involved I kinda have to look at him in the same light.
I mean it's highly likely that the people outside of this runoff are 2 or 3 mafia. I think we should discuss with everyone just in general

Yeah, that's why I wanted to mention it before I voted. It's worth keeping in mind. But the numbers don't really work for it a perfect voting situation.

That's fine. People usually are. I don't particularly care if I get voted off. I just wasn't a fan of what appeared to be group think earlier in the round. That's likely not going to help the town. Above I just meant you at least acknowledged that your original assignment could be more broadly applied.
Okay, I'm going to think on this. Keep getting distracted with the on going drama of covid freeloader in my spare room. They've left the house to go camping until they get their results. lol Today they lost their sense of smell and taste. Not looking great.

Reading back over I think I'm most interested in getting Teddy talking more. Maybe it's because I haven't played with him before but something about his posting style sticks out to me. One thing I've noticed is he promises to share things later. Like he's been calling me suspicious for quite some time. He told Kanye he'd come back later and pull quotes of "weird interactions" between Potent and I in round 1. Besides voting for each other, I don't recall interacting with Potent at all. So I'd like to know what that was about.
A good part of the beginning of this round was centered on SFA-Potent-Kanye. I likened it to a feedback loop where all the sudden it just became the norm that there was mafia somewhere between the 3 of us. Maybe there are. It's not bad odds. However, this early on I'd also think it possible mafia would throw gas on a fire if it looked like it would make the round go their way.
I'm NOT claiming Teddy was responsible for it, or even that some suspicion of the 3 of us wasn't deserved. And maybe exaggerating the reasons people are suspicious comes with the territory of the game. But after thinking about it this is a pretty good vote from where I'm sitting.

FYI, this is the post I'm mostly referring to. Probably wouldn't have even stuck out to me, and maybe it shouldn't, if he wasn't once again delaying posting anything.
to answer your question about my vague post from D1, I had noticed some weird interactions between potent and SFA that gave me vibes they might both be mafia. I don't really have time to pull quotes right now since I'm working, but later tonight I'll go a little more in depth.
Just outta curiosity, why are you so convinced we're gonna fuck up both D2 exiles?
