Consider this a complement to sang's playlist, not a comprehensive primer. It has the major songs he left off, and it's much heavier on the earlier material, with a few extra from the post-Wish era. Sang covered Disintegration pretty thoroughly, so I skipped it. It's hard to do the Cure in 25 songs anyway, they were crazy prolific in the 80s and changed styles constantly.
Nathan Fieldcяab you were asking before about up-and-coming hip-hop artists; I follow Pigeons & Planes on Twitter and FB and they do a real good job of showcasing new talent. They have a newsletter and I'm pretty sure they do weekly playlists as well. It's pretty quality.

Made a playlist of some of my favorite more-obscure QOTSA cuts. I focused on the part of their catalog where they were one of the most badass rock bands of all-time and not the later albums that suck shit.
Wish I could have included this but it's not on Spotify.

Since I did a Dylan one after I had him in the Infinity draft, figured I should make a Springsteen one as well after the most recent one! Honestly, I'd just tell people looking to get into Bruce to listen to Born to Run straight through, but hopefully this might be a helpful resource as well. Gave me an excuse to listen through his full discography if nothing else.

I guess it's fair to say this is a sublime primer. Here's all the songs sampled, covered, or straight ripped off on Sublime's breakthrough self titled album.
