I was totally going to say sabbath but Dad Dog has that. I could do against me for anyone if they’re interested. Queens of the Stone Age also. Other acts: sublime, beastie boys
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I only know the big QotSA hits, hook me up
threw it together pretty quickly and left off all the big hits for you. Theres a few smaller hits but I mostly left them off too so its alot of deeper album cuts. Let me know what you enjoy and ill throw some more like it your way.

I would like to see one for Kate Bush since while I've listened to Hounds of Love and Never For Ever, like, once many years ago, I'm not familiar with any other albums of hers and haven't really set aside any time to dig deeper. Actually also for Jay-Z: I know his hits and have listened to quite a lot of his albums, but I'm sure that there's a lot of deep cuts that I'm missing out on.

i'm working on a Phish studio tracks primer playlist right now. started by just going through the studio albums and adding tracks, came to 5 hours 41 minutes, so I have some work to do.
Honestly I'm not sure what counts as a Jay-Z hit. Feel like maybe of his second tier songs in terms of popularity originally have become his most beloved tracks. Let me know if you want me to dig deeper with either of these as I made quite a few cuts. There are also very different eras or styles of Jay-z. If you wanted a playlist to make the case that he is the best rapper / lyricist of all time, I would adjust this. If you wanted to lean closer to his personal songs. Wanted more aggression, I would curate to any of those themes.

I got your PJ Harvey. I can probably do D'Angelo too.

Could definitely do hot chip unless someone else wants it cause I know they are popular around here.
I’ve listened to the big songs from Billie Holiday and Etta James but if anyone knows either of them well I’d love to do a deep dive. And Ella Fitzgerald
any jazz honestly
Pops hasn't been around in forever, but I think i could tackle this one.
you want a broad range of mostly chronological stuff (big band, cool jazz, bop, free jazz, fusion, etc.) or more of the pop-jazz stuff with singing (billie, etta james, ella fritzgerald, nina simone, etc.)

I dont have a very deep knowledge of any of it and it all is interesting so I'll take whatever you feel like making. I grew up with Nina so I've got a good grasp on her but anything else would be cool.
Yes, but I gotta politely claim a spot somehow just in case I spend three hours digging through Selected Ambient Works II deep cuts just to have some jabroni post one before me.
