Question. Does this rule apply to DJ sets?
Once an artist or act is drafted, they are unavailable to any other team. Teams do not have exclusive rights to musicians that are part of drafted acts however nobody may select an act that includes a musician in a drafted act if the second act regularly plays 6 or more songs created by the previously selected act.
By that I mean, let’s assume RZA played DJ sets (which he does not regularly do as far as I know ) and he always played 6 WuTang songs in those sets. Would that be ineligible?

I'm guessing the answer is no, considering we have Grimes, and someone took her to DJ.

I don't think you can draft RZA (dj-set) if RZA solo was already picked - Wu-Tang already being drafted doesn't matter here. Tho side-projects (like deadmau5 and testpilot or Porter Robinson and Virtual Self) can be drafted distinct from each other.

I dont think a RZA DJ Set is really that different that taking the Grimes DJ set even if it uses a different name. Think both should be allowed.

My point was are DJ sets from individuals allowed if those DJ sets play music from the group. Like if RZA played solo rap shows and did 6+ Wu songs he’d be ineligible, right? But what if he’s just DJing and plays those songs in the context of a DJ set?

III Points did “RZA Live from the 36th Chamber of Shaolin” which was a dj set scoring of the film. It’s not eligible here because it was all Wu-Tang instrumentals.

She could release music under that alias which is not a requirement within the rules as far as I know but it's an alias she deliberatly made to dj under.
edit: but gotta say I'm not that familiar with the whole Nymph-thing so.

I think that if an artist from a drafted act is redrafted the same six song rule applies. As long as RZA doesn't play six Wu-Tang or six solo songs (assuming that he was drafted solo) then selecting him as a DJ is like selecting a side project. (My interpretation of the rules. Personally, I think that once someone has been drafted as a solo performance then all of their other solo performances should be done but people seem to really need the ability to have both Deadmau5 and testpilot in the same draft.)

If the side project plays 6+ Wu-Tang songs (or 6+ Grimes songs, Caribou songs, etc.) then it's ineligible. As you've described it, doesn't sound like the RZA thing would fly

Does her DJ set typically include six of her own songs? Because if it does you should challenge it.
