And one of their members didn't get out of prison until after the draft started. Didn't want to be the guy to say something because I'm afraid some 40yr olds are gonna call me nerds again.

Clarifying question - in this hypothetical draft universe, the 2020 edition of Bonnaroo did not happen, correct? So acts that were on this year's lineup didn't actually play?

When I met tЯist♡n at Coachella 5-years ago the first words out of his mouth to me were “I thought you’d be like 40.”

"16) If an act previously thought to be inactive at the start of the draft becomes active during the course of the draft, it is available to all as an undrafted free agent. Any act that become inactive during the draft and has been drafted already, is still able to be on the lineup of the team that drafted them."

We're parsing hairs. Juelz Santana got out only 8 months early from his conviction. That would make it totally possible for Dipset/Diplomats to have a tour ready for 2021 if they choose to (which would be in their economic incentive). They had tour dates in 2018.
Now if you want to argue where Dipset would end up on a lineup, THAT's a case.

(They also played shows while he was in jail.)
I was also going to bring up, do you really think they would NOT play minus a person, (I mean look at the Wu) -- but it seemed like the less relevant argument.

Think this applies here
huh?
I didn't realize they had tour dates scheduled in 2018; should've read the link you posted. Ignore me

Right, I'd just been skimming and thought that the guy getting released from prison was their argument for eligibility despite the dates not being there... but the dates were there, so it's all love
