As far as Actress goes, last two times he's been in Houston (which tons of stuff drafted hasn't even done that, Aphex aside, looking at you Bon Iver), he's played two venues (upscaling venues the 2nd show) that nearly every act that plays roo play(minus the arena/stadium acts). People that have shared the stage with Actress in Houston include, Animal Collective, King Krule, Mastodon, Snail Mail, Shame, the Beth's, black angels, washed out, also performing in the same venue complex as Tame, Father John Misty, Sturgil, CHVCHES.
From my perspective it's not some super rare act that only comes around in a blue moon. It's an act that comes every couple years to venues everyone plays at.
Honestly the biggest part of realism for me is, would this artist schedule a show in my hometown on a tour that included Bonnaroo. Really truly the only thing that hasn't on our lineup is Jamiroquai, but Suwannee, and iirc would've played DFN but had to cancel that leg of their tour because of health issues.
On other lineups, most things do and for me there's really only a handful that I'd really just be shocked if they were on a LN fest next year

I agree to some extend that it would fix the whole electronics would never play this but these guitar or pop artists wouldnt either or whatever. But, I do think Bonnaroo always has like a handful of unique acts and more so since they took the booking mgmt over from LN few years ago. So in that case, you could justify picking some leftfield stuff to some extend. Plus there's also the fact that - and I gave that critique about your top line of your Friday for example - that in between some of those acts that would def would play Roo that it doesnt get to alternative and that it still has to cater to a wide variety of people - not taking your HLers into account.
