So how do Superjams work? If someone picks Weird Al, would we then be unable to do a Weird Al superjam? And does the same rule apply for participants and guests?
I understand what they want to do. I just want to make a great Bonnaroo lineup with only Bonnaroo bands, without having to book trash that I don't even listen to. I don't see why we never do one with Bonnaroo like we did with Coachella. I mean I'll still play along, just think it's kinda stupid. I'll work on making a master list for Bonnaroo if no one else wants to do it and we can play that game later. I've also always been in support of doing one where we choose specific sets.
Someone is working on this for a future draft. Maybe piggy pablo ? Or is he working on an auction draft. Anyway, that one is pending.
So yeah the idea was to do an auction with similar stipulations to the Coachella draft, but with past Bonnaroo lineups. Since this draft is running with a Bonnaroo theme and sang is ok operating something along those lines, I think the auction will just be a free-for-all as far as that stuff goes. Basically create-a-festival. Thinking of requiring a venue to be selected, among other things. I'm not really interested in strictly defining artist eligibility as much as I am ensuring that the parameters of the auction are optimal. Eligibility is meant to be a bit looser than other non-Infinity drafts have been.
I'll start it once this draft starts to lull, but it will ramp up very slowly.
8) Between 9 AM - 9 PM Eastern, pick-up window is 3 hours regardless of what round we're in. Outside of those times, it's 12, 8 or 6 hours. No exceptions.
Can we clarify this and make it so if the picks starts before 9PM then it’s still only a 3 hour window?
