Basic rules are contained in this article by Bill Simmons, including (importantly) the draft order: grantland.com/the-triangle/you-should-have-an-nfl-wins-pool/. Remember, this is not a snake draft - the draft order is contained in the Simmons link. It was formulated by some Berkeley astrophysicists or something.
For the draft order, I am using random.org. I put us alphabetically based on username:
Keep in mind, this is not a strict snake draft. The exact order is contained in the Simmons link.
If there are no further questions, Spent is on the clock. No need to pick today, you can pick whenever you want, but if you haven't picked by Labor Day night, I will probably check in and prod you.
I'm definitely surprised that Esteban took KC over the Saints
It was a tough decision. I wanted the Ravens, because they will probably win the most games again. But the Pack, KC, Saints, 49ers and others all were at 12/13 wins. I think the Saints have the best roster top to bottom, but we have a fairly tough schedule. Also, if we do end up signing Clowney, forget the Steel Curtain. In-game substitutions will allow us to rotate at least 6 among Cam Jordan, Young Rank, Onyemata, Clowney, Hendrickson & Davenport who are collectively better by a large margin than Mean Joe Green, L.C. Greenwood, Dwight White and Ernie Holmes.
This one is full, but I'll run another one if we get enough interest. There was at least one person who wanted in the first one who was 11th to sign up, there's only room for 10.
3 of the picks are rock solid 2 are maybe a little high but could pan out 1 is spent
I think Chiefs and Ravens are no-brainers up top. Bucs is silly, not sure why they're getting so much hype. BA is good with old players but Brady is mediocre at this rate, Gronk won't last long and they have an ok defense. They're an ok second rounder but #1? woof.
Don't like the Cowboys tbh, I feel like people have too high of expectations every year for them. Same with the Saints, but this is just regular season so it's ok. Bills before 49ers, Hawks, Packers, Vikings, don't love it, but can't knock taking your own team.

I mostly agree though the Saints should be up there near top record in the NFC and were therefore a good pick at #6 imo. spent is a Tampa homer (e.g. taking his own team also)
