Unless they specifically said “we’re doing this group because Throbbing Gristle is done forever after whoever’s death” they’re eligible
Throbbing Gristle is a tough one because Genesis just died in March of 2020. They called it quits and disbanded after Sleazy died, but did release a weird hybrid post-death album under the moniker X-TG. (Genesis wasn't involved if I recall.) Not sure how to rule on something when someone who quit and dissolved the band ten years ago died during COVID times.
