This is a pretty fascinating set up for the next round. I didn't realize that all of these past lineups are in play now. No one did this, but I feel like the play woulda been to pick up Post Malone in the last round of phase 1, have him carry you in the tickets sold and genre diversity, then cut his ass for Nine Inch Nails or The Cure when the criteria changes to "are these artists actually good or not"

To do that, you would have had to have booked 4 headliners by the end of phase 2, which wasn't easy to do well.
Oh yeah, I was actually wondering something yesterday because of Larry Farnsworth 's list (the token metal act thing) in the poll; does anyone know how packed it was at Volbeat in 2016 since we talked earlier about some bands being booked lower than they should or whatever. They're headlining metal fests over here in Europe and I think in the US aswell, right? Idk.

Yeah, that makes sense. I also don't know what the sentiment in this thread would be if you had Post Malone then surprise now you have someone dope. People probably would have been mad.

I don't have a clear choice in mind here, so if you do, make me an offer. I'd prefer not to move out of the round entirely, but would be open to it if there's enough on the table.
