Mostly rock based smaller bands play the Sonora. Sometimes there's a bit of indie in there aswell.

Deafheaven's agent wanted a Gobi slot and I was like "this ain't Pitchfork, bitch!" and hung up on them.
Gonna contact that agent later I think then lmao. Nah, kidding but they were gonna be my token metal band even though Touché Amoré already kinda fits that bill.
I also wanna ask help for a HQ poster to someone with Photoshop, I've got everything set and done but the quality will be ugly asf and the names unreadable if I do it with Powerpoint like I normally do with drafts.

Sonora is smaller or rising punk/garage/psych/indie/hardcore. It's a home for rock music since other stages trend more pop/rap/electro now. It's almost like a rock club and bill within the fest.
So far I have Amyl and The Sniffers, Turnstile, Death, Cuco, and Rancid playing mine (though some are too big in all reality, but fine for this game). They all fit the vibe where a band like Doves on my lineup does not.
edit: I should have also noted that this stage is booked by one of the youngest people on GV's staff so the bands trend "cool"
