Three day Coachella, sure, Tyler's a headliner.
Two day Coachella? I don't think so. I have Odd Future and they're not headlining, and they'd be a bigger draw than Tyler solo.

Only needing two headliners necessarily means that the headliner pool is larger and deeper. If we all needed to do 3 headliners then you're looking at 51 total, minimum. As it stands, we only need 34 total minimum. Someone like Tyler (who is on the lower end of the headliner spectrum) probably shouldn't headline over 34 other acts in that scenario.

Correct, because a borderline 3 isn't a strong enough headliner to be a solid 1 or 2.
Tyler would sell more tickets and have a larger crowd than a lot of more established headliners to be fair
Maybe, but you could have him as a #2 or #3, paired with big/cool/interesting acts above him, and get the best of both worlds.
The subs in this scenario are pretty big though. I think if Bing wants to play kind of in the spirit of the game and have a sense of reality to it, it would make sense to give Tyler the bump
