semi-related question, if I wanted to start/learn to build out DJ mixes, what is the best software to use to do that? feel like some people in this chat have some experience with that, and I've got tons of time on my hands with the whole staying at home thing
If it’s easier we could move snowman to Friday and start tonight earlier? Doesn’t matter to me but idk is starting at 10 for east coast people is hard on a weeknight.

If you want to buy a controller, I would also recommend Traktor.

Gonna go literally backwards from truevine and endorse serato and the Pioneer DDJ series lol, but that's just my personal experience. Serato has a way cleaner UI, and the Pioneer controllers are virtually indestructible

I never learned how to use Serato but I know a lot of hip-hop DJs prefer it (Jrocc, Questlove, Lefto, etc). What’s your set up these days?

Roland DJ-808, it's got a great workflow, the fastest platters on the market, and the drum machine/sequencer built into the hardware if I feel like getting frisky
go in jqbx then one at a time people go through their uber ride playlist. After the 5 of you are done, vote on your fave other than your own. Person with most votes wins
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
