Top 5 artists: 1. Bob Dylan 2. Bruce Springsteen 3. Fiona Apple 4. Erykah Badu 5. Sufjan Stevens
Top 5 songs: 1. You & I (Caribou) 2. Polly (Moses Sumney) 3. Virile (Moses Sumney) 4. Forever (Charli XCX) 5. Never Come Back (Caribou)
Total Minutes: 80,230
Considering I listened through their full discographies to make playlists for the Primer thread, those top 2 artists aren't too surprising. Kind shocked there's no Dua Lipa there; I listened to Future Nostalgia a ton this year

Top 5 songs: 1. Virile (Moses Sumney) 2. Lilacs (Waxahatchee) 3. Cut Me (Moses Sumney) 4. Now I'm In It (HAIM) 5. What a Drag (Nathaniel Rateliff)
Total Minutes: 58,210
A little surprised by some of the top artists, but 4 of the 5 were on my Newport Folk 2020 playlist that I listened to a lot this year. Also surprised to see Moses claim the top spot for songs, but like the other artists on the song list, those songs came out in the first few months of the year and have remained on my 2020 playlist.
1. Phish 2. Vampire Weekend 3. David Bowie 4. They Might Be Giants 5. Young Thug
1. Vampire Weekend - Bambina 2. Vampire Weekend - White Sky 3. Young Thug - With That 4. Knocked Loose - Belleville 5. Phish - Mercury
i'd wager that most of my spotify listening was done during runs, which i started doing in earnest once covid hit. i do listen to spotify when i work but i think i listened to DJ sets on youtube or livephish+ more.
my top artists make sense, big time comfort music for me.
I spent 9,000 minutes listening to the Dead this year and not a single song is in my top 100
I listen to spotify about 8 hours a day with work, travel, etc. so my minutes are insane.
I feel like there is something off with the algorithm. I spent the better part of the past 6 months listening to jazz and nothing showed.
Agreed. Aside from my top artist being right on the money, I feel like some of my other stats didn’t make sense/add up.
Three of my top five songs were Caroline P, though—and that one does sound about right too. I listened to the album “Pang” a whole fucking lot this year <3

did it show up in your genres? i spent a lot of time listening to dub techno this summer, but not any particular artist, mostly playlists. "minimal techno" showed up as one of my top genres.

Sadly, no. It was Metal/Metal-ish/Art Pop/Punk/Rock. Archie Shepp did show up in my playlist but that's it. I'm wondering if longer songs get counted towards that.
I really listened to a lot of those two Dyno songs back in January, I guess. I feel like there's no way Utopia should be this high or Good Form isn't on this. I guess my and my friend's Good Form obsession was mostly late last year.
Walking around Vegas listening to Golden Arrow is a vibe and a half.
Top podcast: Success Express
Top decade: 2000s. Guessed 90s.
Top artist: Grateful Dead. Still only 97th percentile.
Times like these that I get sad Joanna Newsom isn't on Spotify--she definitely would've been in my Top 5 Artists, but all my listens have been via the YouTubez

I cannot for the life of me figure out to share the nice summary page this year.
me neither. i can only access it via my mobile app. so i can take shitty screenshots but i'm seeing these nice big landscape images in this thread, not sure how people are getting those.
