But there is also this streak of competiveness that still rages inside of me that kind of hopes one of your teams goes and gets fucked for the sake of those of us in the 1500s and below club. The bad officiating doesn't excuse blowing a 20 point lead and allowing overtime.
firmly disagree. This wasn’t just a few bad calls. That ejection was absolute BS and then what came after was play after play where they called fouls on UNC for playing basic defense where they hardly touched the opponent whilst letting Baylor continually run their press VERY roughly and not calling shit on it.
Check Twitter. Countless of people who firmly identify as not at all UNC fans found it to be a disgrace too.
I don’t even watch NCAA bball much anymore. I go for UNC (hometown) and Davidson (alma mater) when they’re playing, yeah, but I mostly just enjoy watching a good game regardless of who is playing. I’ll even cheer for good plays from Duke if they are playing anyone but those two teams.
Watching this game’s officiating made me feel embarrassed for the NCAA.
