It's a single elimination tournament. Not necessarily worth jumping to conclusions based on these results. Miami was probably properly seeded. They were 53rd in kenpom and 62nd in NET. They were somewhat fortunate to even make the tournament.

Back in the day, you had a few schools (most notably UConn and Tennessee) just go around and destroy everyone.
While South Carolina is very good this year, there's a number of schools that have closed the gap. South Dakota just took Baylor out, for example.
the whole time I was growing up (and went to a lot of UNC women’s games in person bc it was sooo much easier to do so than men’s games #misogyny), women’s Tennessee and UCONN teams were consistently just near unbeatable. Glad to know that’s shifted a bit in recent years.

In survivor I needed to pick one game in the Sweet 16. I debated Purdue, Villanova, Miami, and went with Purdue because I'm not sure they will get to the final four but think they win tomorrow. I've used Arkansas, Texas Tech, Houston of the teams remaining.

on a real note though, i don't blame chris for leaving. it does seem like it was a better opportunity for him to go back to his alma mater and all things considered, a 20-12 record over the year and a conference 10-8 is still pretty good. my only issue is just how he left. if he would've formally said he was leaving, people would still be upset, but not as upset as they are when you try and completely fuck up the program on your way out the door.
