It was stunning for me that I had to think for a few minutes about whether the lineup with Daft Punk at the top would make the cut or not.
I'll take that as a compliment because I thought I might have too many second-liner types or artists taking lower billing than they would at an actual Coachella.
I also think Lorde is a headliner next time she plays. Just keeping flexibility there for now.
keep in mind SZA is gonna have a new album out with Brockhampton, Justin Timberlake, Post Malone, and Jack Antonoff all on it, and Kid Cudi is dropping Man On The Moon III tn.

And Dr. Dre, as far as rap. I've gotten gunshy with a couple different rappers because of.. cancelation issues.
I have Zedd, Tiesto and Jai Wolf, as far as EDM. Thought about another big name, but it felt like overkill with Zedd and Tiesto.
Pop and rock were the main priorities for me after the top three.

Pepe, Jaz, Katyperry, Me, Problem Dog, Charles, Teddy, Cash Me... for now. I feel like these truly deserve the vote though I probably need to (will) fill out a full 11 in the spirit of the game.

I mean, I think not selecting Pablos is overthinking this. It has daft punk; it probably has the highest resale value of any fest on here, no matter what. It's kind of not fun for the game's purposes because, no offense, it's not like this was anything besides taking the no-brainer pick, but he's def going to sell the most.

I won't lie, there's a part of me that thinks there's debate to be had about what kind of a draw something like Daft Punk would have now. Like I'm sure there would be unbelievable amounts of hype for the first show in 14 years or whatever, but I really wonder to what extent the current generation of festivalgoers would care about Daft Punk. RAM was a long time ago, you know?

wow man, I'm hurt
You'll prob end up riding Beyonce to one of my remaining votes. What acts outside of her, Odd Future and Halsey are you thinking would move tickets compared to other lineups?

I've got Beyonce, OF, Halsey, Porter Robinson & Madeon for the basic set, Blur, Chems, Neutral Milk Hotel etc. for the old heads, Run the Jewels is for the people, and then fun undercard stuff like DARKSIDE, the Avalanches, Basement Jaxx, ATDI, Westside Gunn + Conway, 070 Shake, a Rilo Kiley reunion, etc. Put some bigger pop-adjacent names up top, went with actual good stuff below.

if Daft Punk plays coachella they're probably touring
What are your thoughts for how an OF show would go?
I think Odd Future is weird as a sub. None of the members that made an actual splash put out their career defining material during the Odd Future era. I think a set where Frank plays like 2 songs and Tyler plays like 6 songs, etc would leave a lot of people kinda disappointed, as would them only playing the old stuff.

I mean it's Coachella, they're only getting like an hour and ten minutes anyway. It'll just be Oldie on repeat.
Daft Punk is a huge deal, but I think they’re less of a big deal than a few years ago. I think people have kinda given up hope on them. You also have way more artists doing the whole never tour thing.
