Are you suspicious of anyone or have any reads?
The people who said I was playing dumb after seeing me play multiple drafts where I skimmed the rules seem sus But again, anything anyone says can be framed as sus so it’s kinda hard. Also, there hasn’t been a ton of conversation with all of the players

Eh, it isn't anything personal: if one of the other noobs posted the same questions you did, I would've had the exact same response. FYI, it was a game earlier this year that a new player used this exact tactic when Maf, so I just know it is absolutely something to watch out for. But it isn't like I totally have you pegged as Maf now--as others have mentioned , it is early days. But it is worth noting, is all.
I did already state, though, that veteran players coulddd also be using this as a diversion, so I'm keeping that v much in mind too.
