Jk, just playing more aggressive and not trying to have a tell. Last game I tried to limit how often I switched votes so this game I figured why not
Not sure if you realize what happened here, but by switching off of me and on to Potent, you nearly saved Inspector (me) and killed mafia (potent).
But then after you did that, Pepe switched off potent and on to me to negate it. And that is ultimately why I had to reveal this morning.
So I am asking the rest of the group if they think you would have attempted to kill your mafia teammate (potent) in that moment.
If Theo believes that Potent wanted to die there, then maybe you would do that as Potents teammate. idk.
Yeah I think it only makes sense as ultra distancing, which we can't discount (and I figured would be used especially so by Maf early on this game due to the new element reveals, because duh), but I agree it isn't the most likely scenario unless Maf felt super confident that you had Potent's name instead of MD's or the third's.

I pulled a Kanye there, and its pretty clear Rummy is Town. 2 games ago Rummy went away peacefully when outed. I basically wanted to choose her for that reason and I figured itd be helpful to clear her as town if I was wrong since you all were so suss of her and may have exiled her day 2 without me to reveal any info. She would have went away peacefully here on day 1 if mafia.
On top of that, my actual given name was Maddog. Notice the first post after my reveal. He said he wasnt buying it instantly because he knew I was wrong.
So while Im super annoyed about getting myself in lynch position here, at least you have the closest thing possible to a Town confirm in Rummy.
It was really, really, really fucking annoying when Pepe voted for Potent on with maddog left to vote and none of you switched to maddog to see how he’d vote.
Kanye voted for maddog then switched off him. Ditto a couple others. But there is basically nothing to go off of.
Vote out Potent here. Confirm him as Town. I was never that suss of him anyways. But then you guys will have a decent amount of knowledge I guess... not really.

Honestly the Potent sacrifice works no matter who the given is, because when Potent dies, it reveals him as mafia. The goal of it is to not let Jortles reveal to the town so they can whack him overnight without him revealing who the other mafia could be.

If you are town... im thinking kpo is town so you have to look at teddy for the 2-1 or assume that if its all three on potent that one of the two switchers is mafia. Teddy then pepe then theo should get the third... if you are town

No worries, and just to explain the "pull a Kanye" reference:
In an earlier game, Kanye was inspector, and me, Teddy, and Jortles were mafia. Kanye revealed Teddy as his given, and then he claimed Jortles was mafia, and it turned out to be correct, even though he had guessed someone else the night before. Jortles didn't fight it when Kanye claimed he was mafia, so it was pretty much a free mafia found for town.

I think it was just you and pepe that switched the final day to save potent. I mean nobody is off the table, but if you are KPO, Teddy, or Kanye as a townie looking at that final vote breakdown you are in a good position.

I worry about putting too much faith into the notion that one of the two switchers is Maf tho.
We all know (well I guess maybe not the noobs, but of us who have played together a lot this year) how much I've been called out for doing that vote switch move to save a teammate as Mafia since I did a couple games this spring (and obvi won't do that shit anymore because that'd just be dumber than hell at this point for me), and with role reveals as part of the configuration of things now...I wouldn't be that surprised if the two switchers were just townies making unfortunate moves bc none the wiser.
