Mafia 134 - The Storyteller's Silence

OK, so if LD was the third, it would mean that NONE of the three maf voted for each other in D1R1 which I just honestly have a sort of hard time believing, given that this is the first game of trying role reveals & I feel like Maf definitely knew from the start that early-on distancing was the move since we were going to be finding out people's roles as they got exiled. LD *did* switch over from Jortles to Potent pretty quickly, with the comment "but I'll probably be back"...but idk, his initial vote was on Jortles nonetheless.

I do not believe that a Maf Silv would likely throw MD into the ringer D1R1 when no one was even on him yet (he went from Theo to MD on pg 2), whereas the comment from Teddy to Potent later on that page of "or just conveniently taking Dan out of the runoff?" sort of smells to me as potentially calling out his teammate about a connection that doesn't actually exist: a different way of distancing.

There was a ton of movement on/off Theo, including from MD and Potent. Like, between the two of them, they got him actively in the running to proceed into D1R2, and...again, it is possible they decided to go ballsy with distancing there by propelling their third forward like that, but it seems less likely than a MD/Potent/Teddy trio from where I'm standing. Theo does however move from Potent onto Jortles (end of pg 3), so I feel like if he IS the third, the Maf Team was angling to have a couple of them in the runoff but didn't want all three, so Theo could've made this switch in effect. With MD and Potent both on Theo around pg 4 when he had five damn votes on him...I mean, yeah, some solid distancing there is a possibility, we shouldn't discount it, but would they really be pushing forward the D1 exile of their teammate that ardently?

So where I'm at in my thinking is basically that I think Teddy makes the most sense as third, but I'm not counting out the possibility that Maf Team decided to go balls-to-the-wall on distancing by voting for each other/pushing each other into the runoff D1 with the intention of sacrificing one of themselves early, wherein Town would learn the exiled Maf person's role and then have trouble putting them together with the remaining two because of all that said distancing. It'd be a risky strategy, though, since Inspector easily could've had a diff name than the D1 Maf Exile (which in fact, he did), and then that just leaves one Maf teammate to battle it out themselves, which is where we're at now. Would they pursue a strategy like that from the onset?

It's a long round to follow the weekend rules. I'm all for ending earlier though if that's what y'all want, though there's been four posts in the past 17 hours so maybe you want the time?
