All I know is, I'm town. Theo is one of the people I'm most suss of right now. So I'm going back to him now.
I would happen to agree with the thought that if Pepe was Mafia, he'd be a little more invested to at least fight his way out of a runoff. (You could probably make the same argument for me as well.)
I'm fully aware that I haven't been as active in this game as I normally would be - and I apologize to the town because its obviously starting to become detrimental to our efforts here.
I know that Potent has a long history of voting alongside Mafia teammates. Both him and Theo voted for each other on Day 1. It might be nothing, but at this rate it's the best lead I got. This is one of those games where I'm more interested in voting patterns than whatever spin and bullshit people are throwing out there.
And if this goes to Day 5, I'm probably voting Kanye. But would need to reread tonight. He seems to be escaping with little scrutiny to this point, and that should be raising more alarms.
This line right here has so many problems for me. Using an excuse like this to partially clear someone else then turn around and use it to excuse yourself is suspicious as fuck to me. And it's also your only defense. For Pepe it makes more sense as an excuse since he's much newer, and I know it might be actually true for you since this game is taking place over holidays, but I expect better reasoning from more experienced players.
I just woke up and my brain is going all over the place, and now I kinda wanna get Kanye in this runoff. If we're gonna be using day 1 shit to decide this then as a voting trio Kanye-Potent-Maddog probably makes more sense than LD/Pepe-Potent-Maddog. The issue is Pepe LD and Kanye were all mostly silent on D1, giving no relationship to either mafia in terms of what they talked about.
Having no confirmed town between any of the Jortles voters is pretty brutal but exiling Silver here does confirm it wasn't a 2-1 split.

Super distancing plan (Theo, MD, Potent)
Probably started because Theo was stacked straight out of the gate which may have led maf to believe you were the given name. Then Potent also came out repeatedly saying it was your turn to die D1 again trying to distance especially since it looked likely you were the given name. Dan says something about "explaining it later" and then moves off of you. I also move off of you leaving you at 0 votes. Then Potent thinking you might be the given- switches over to you because you had been saved from the runoff and it could look like distancing. Next round Maddog has a revote and votes for you again trying to distance. Then you get super stacked which probably wasn't planned. I was mafia with potent once and we did literally exile our own teammate on day 1- it wasn't planned but we didn't wanna save him. Saving you would be risky here especially with role reveals but luckily Jortles moved off of you and since all 3 of you are mafia together you were able to make it to where Jortles was the exile. However what foiled it was that he was inspector. It really wouldn't have mattered that Potent was left with Jortles since only 1 person is exiled. And so all the distancing and vote switching on day 1 would have helped post game a ton but it couldn't pan out here.
In regards to jortles reveal- you took awhile to respond which maybe you were sleeping or whatever but either way. You said you did quick rereadand that's fine but what catches me off guard is the rest of your posts post reveal didn't really do much.
You post a lot of guiding help to new players, and also help digest Jortles reveal for some with your posts explaining what it meant. But you never went beyond that. Once Maddog was killed you sort of clammed up. You talked a bit but it was mostly stuff like "this is as safe as any vote right now" or "I'm waiting to see what others say."
This derived from me just simply not believing Pepe is mafia and having to figure out how your mafia. I think LD also had a working theory similar to this

You weren't the one to start the "super distancing" narrative, but if we want to go off that, you voted Maddog round 1 day 1, and you're the only option to be the 1 on Potent if it was a 2-1 split. All 3 of us were on Potent when the final round started so I'm just ignoring that. A theory I've been considering most of the game is that at some point in the final runoff mafia knew that Jortles was the inspector, and Potent tried to hide that from town by asking to be exiled. Me and Pepe were the 2 people that decided to switch off of Potent and onto Jortles, and I don't think either of us do that as mafia knowing that we're forcing an inspector to reveal and have a 2/3 chance to kill off 2 mafia just like that.
Because you came out of day 1 looking pretty good you've been able to coast by the rest of the game with very little pressure. Yeah I went sort of silent at day 3, and the only time I went aggressive after that was the move onto LD day 4 which of course turned out incorrect.
