Mafia 134 - The Storyteller's Silence

I'm totally okay with Night talking but I think Potent's right that revealed at time of exile shifts the power a bit too much towards the town. Jortles decided to reveal before Potent had died but if he hadn't, that would give him more info with which to make his guess, as well as give him the opportunity to reveal immediately, knowing they'd have two Mafia down. So in the future I think it's better to announce that role when the whack is announced.

As far as D5 strategy goes, the downside to having two Mafia known by the end of D1 is that there's literally nothing else to go off of for the rest of the game. No patterns to decipher. Imo it was a total crapshoot after D2. Idk what else a townie could really do.

The corollary to that has to be that the ones who don't participate get exiled.  But the town needs to commit to that.

Its basically the strategy of paying it off in poker. Too invested to give up though you have a feeling you're going to lose.
