I don't know if completely blind mafia works, but certainly d1 blind and finding out teammates during n1 for the whack is an interesting thought. I would ref that game next if people are interested.

I had the feels too that Potent was colluding with Dan. I just couldn’t believe anyone would be so crazy to do it. I guess there is something to be said for following your “gut” in this game. I tend to stick with my brain too often
also to be fair, I've played a lot more with Potent & Dan as a combo in the past year than you have--Dan does the zany shit more for the hell of it but I could totally see Potent doing this as a case study of sorts. And then KPO was just along for the ride lol

I’m sorry I ever doubted you. Like I said before, I felt you were more likely than Rummy to pull such a move, so you’d be my pick between you two. But clearly Potent was also capable of such a nut job play. Props to you for making the right call - this game is your victory.

While there was some truth underneath what I was saying, you have to play the game on Day 4 and try to manipulate mafia. I was saying to both of you that Mafia would try to leave Potent alive day 5 and that you might fall for it to make Mafia think I was all in on that stance and that I was backing Potent no matter what.
Whether that was the reason they kept me... I doubt it. But you can't just say exactly what you are actually thinking on Day 4 or else you will get played.

I threw the theory out there at the end of D4 on purpose, not carelessly. Wanted to see if they whacked me for it, and that if I *was* the one to be whacked, was hoping you and BKB could see it for what it was. Which you did. So yay

Some ways I’ve seen this idea implemented though is there’s one mafia that is told who maf is, but the other 2 don’t know who’s the third.

Yeah that makes sense. Does inspector get the name of the mafia who knows all 3 from the start? Otherwise I feel like inspector hardly has an advantage if they’re trying to find connections that don’t even exist with a name of a maf who doesn’t know their teammates

Not sure. Everyone would know at least one teammate but haven’t considered the potential advantage/disadvantage for inspector
