Steve Young had a stupid contract in the USFL when the La Express got him. It was 4 years $40 million and would be paid out over 43 years. The original Bonilla deal if the league had actually survived this long.

I really don't see the Raiders or Broncos topping the Chargers this year though. We will see how Brandon Staley plays out (first time NFL head coach), but he seems to have the guys on his side and I'm optimistic. If Herbert, Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Ekeler, and our revamped O-line match expectations then I think our D will be good enough to win 11-12 games in the regular season
Definitely would if there was legal sports betting in my state. I'd also throw a small sum on them +3000 for the SB. I'm not deluded and actually expecting them to win, but I do think they are one of the best dark horse contenders in the league. But I'm as biased as they come, lol. First time I feel truly hopeful for an NFL season in a VERY long time thanks to Mr. Herbert
You can get underdogs that have already made the playoffs in December for +3000 many times.
Good to know. My buddy uses an online book and I like to convince him to make bets when we're drunk, but I'm kind of glad I'm not involved because I don't really trust myself 😂
